Alcohol

I’m 9 days post op and just wondering when can I go back to drinking alcohol?? I’m dying for a glass of wine x

I’m 9 days today too and going to have a few beers tonight! I’m sure it’s fine once you’ve finished your meds xx

Hi, I had my op on 18th and saw the nurse yesterday and she said 2 weeks post op! Xx

Oh no! Why’s that? xx

She didn’t say why so not sure. I don’t know if it would do any harm though but I am just going to wait 2 weeks because that’s what she said. I have read on here though people drinking alcohol within the 2 weeks pre op which she also told me not to and they have been fine xx

Oh well I was drinking a few days before my op too so never mind! No one told me xx

Yeah I’ve heard 2 weeks post op but I’ve also heard if your off your anti biotics and analgesia tablets u should be OK to drink one glass of a something ?! Xxx
