How soon before your op were you told to stop alcohol?

Mine is 1st June. Linda said 30 days but I’m sitting here drinking a glass of red. Always thought it was two weeks before op.

Just wondering what you’ve been told?

As in, one glass, lol, I’m not planning on hammering it down my neck. Just curious what other surgeons advise.

On all my documents and guides it says 48hrs before op. I drank on the Friday night and op was on Monday and everything was fine. Xx

Ahhh that’s great thanks! I can enjoy a few this eve guilt free! Lol! I thought 30 days was slightly excessive considering I’m not much of a drinker anyway.

@ cliona its 2 weeks Hun . There are me and other girls around the same date! 10 days time! And we all been told 2 weeks before . As alchohol thins your blood. Xx
