So I’ve just come home from my surgery in Doncaster with Mr Kazzazi and I feel absolutely fine!
My admission time was 8:30 and I thought I’d be waiting ages but it was so quick! The nurse came in to talk about allergies and medical history with me, then the anesthatist came to see me then Mr Kazzazi came to draw on me. Within 10 minutes after that I was going down to theatre!
They put a drip in hand and told me id feel a bit hazy and that’s the last thing I remember, I was out for the count! Apparently I didn’t speak either I just went to sleep! Then next thing I know I woke up back in my room. I’ve got strapping on and all you can see is my nipples. There was no pain to start with but I’m now starting to ache, and where my incision are is still numb so I feel I have a lot of pain to come yet. I’m trying to keep upright and my shoulders back as you do feel like you want to walk bent over because they’re so heavy.
They do look a bit triangular at the minute but they said that’s just because of the way the strapping is and they will start to go more round especially once I get a bra on. Is this what fluffing is?
I was given tea and toast when I came back, I sat for a bit until I felt I wasn’t so drugged up and then I went to the toilet and off I went!
So far it’s been a great experience. The staff were incredibly friendly!
So that’s my story so far!! Xx
