Hey Girlies, well the day finally came for me yesterday and I now have my new boobies! : )
Very pleased with the outcome, I had 500cc high profile unders.
Arrived at The First trust hospital in Preston at 8am (which I have to say looks nothing like a hospital from the outside, more like a health spa!)
Staff were lovely and friendly and I was shown to my room right away.
was given a gown and sexy stockings and paper knickers to change into, before the nurse came to do my paperwork and blood pressure checks etc..
I was then left alone for about half an hour, so had a read of my magazines and then the anaesthetist came in to go through his paperwork,
listen to my heart and chest. All the while the nurses kept bobbing in checking I was ok and if I needed anything.
I was told I was 2nd on the list and Mr Traynor would be along to see me shortly.
it was about 9:15 when he came to draw on me, check sizes and sign my consent form, he then told me Id be going down about 10:30am and to enjoy my day!
The man is absolutely lovely and I couldnt have asked for a better surgeon.
Like other girls have said on here he’s very direct and to the point, but thats what I liked about him. Their are no back doors with him lol!
So at 10:30am on the dot there wax a knock on my door and away I went, got taken into a side room where I had the canula put in and was given something to relax me as
I literally could not stop myself shaking I was so scared!
That kicked in and I felt instantly calmer, there was a lovely lady in there with me holding my hand whilst I was put to sleep.
next thing I knew I was awake feeling like an elephant was standing on my chest and in quite a lot of pain.
I was taken back to my room and given Tramadol and once that kicked in I was much more comfortable.
was brought tea and toast around 12ish had 1 bite felt violently sick, started sweating and the room was spinning
so the nurse told me to leave it and try and eat it in a while.
I eventually managed to get it down me, felt loads better after that, had a little kip and Mr Traynor came to check on me, said all went well but he had a bit of a struggle to fit the 500’s in hence the reason Im so sore! (Not that Im complaining, I love them!)
Asked the nurse when I could leave and she said soon as you feel up to it, so texted my hubbie and he came with all 3 kids to collect me at 5pm.
was so pleased to see them and Iv had a lovely experience with Mya. So worth it! : )
