All done!

Had my op today at first trust hospital. Admission time was 11am and I was down in theatre by half 1. I wasn’t nervous at all for some reason which isn’t like me! Nurses, doctors and anesthetsist are all lovely they make you feel very welcome. Dr traynor came to see me before and twice after.

I’m so glad I went for the bigger size. I was panicking I was going to be going too big but I woke up and said to my boyfriend “where are they?” Haha. Much smaller than I thought they’d be. Maybe when they drop and fluff they’ll be bigger? Hope so, I’ve got a little boob greed! Could easily have gone up to my maximum offered of 450’s.

Here’s a pic about 2 hours after my op. My nipples have swollen, I’m in a lot of pain I literally can’t do anything for myself but overall I’m pleased and happy so far 🙂 xx

Hi Paula I can’t figure out how I message you ! so pleased everything went ok, sorry i couldn’t reply earlier my phone ran out of battery. I’m at home now are you? I did not expect the pain to be like this, really struggling. I do love them, like you I thought they were small! So pleased I picked bigger Macom bra though it’s tight!! Xxx

Hi Allana, I was thinking of you today! Hope you’re okay, are you happy? Mine are a lot smaller than I imagined but I’m happy at the moment. I can barely move, I can’t even shuffle to sit upright and they feel sooo tight like they’re gonna burst out of my skin or fall out of the bottom!

Hey girls! Glad u both went on okay and are happy woth results!! Im also glad I went for the bigger size too as dont think ther that big also hoping theu will drop n fluff out a bit!! Got boob greed so bad hahaha!! Im still in super pain can bately move never imagined it wud hurt this much feel so stiff mya nurses rang today to check n juat suggested little walks every half hour to stay motive etc I can now go loo by myself but I have to get a push up haha! Hope ur both okay 🙂 xxx

Thanks a lot everyone 🙂 I’m worrying a little that my nipples are still pointy and a bit tuberous looking but I know they’ve still got to change so hopefully it’ll sort out. Glad you’re okay Nicole! Keep me informed haha :)) xxx

I’m just taking cocodamol every 4 hours, also ice packs really helping . I thought I’d be up and about today but decided it’s best to stay in bed. It will all be worth it!! My right boobs way more swollen than my left, I hope I have met hurt it from trying to get up, I’ve got nobody with me today so had to do it myself xxx

Oh I’m gonna go and get my ice pack out thanks for reminding me, where are you holding it? I’m taking ibuprofen to try and get rid of the swelling a bit. It’s difficult getting up isn’t it. Do you feel really tight? I’m trying not to pull myself up. Hope you’re okay on your own, I’m on my own most of the day too. I’m sure they’ll just be swelling at different times and you’ve not done any damage. Glad you’re doing okay xx

I’ve been holding the ice pack on top where the main swelling is and down the side under my armpit. Yea it feels like there going to burst out like hulk haha they just keep getting bigger every time I look. Mind it is nice having a lazy day, can’t remember the last time I had a tv day. Dr traynor was really funny totally made me feel at ease on the day, all the staff were so lovely too xx

Weren’t they all lovely, dr traynor was on form with his whitty sense of humour. Have you had a post opp appointment made? I haven’t. Tried to contact my PC and heard nothing. Hoping this isn’t the start of shit aftercare excuse my language! Xx

I know, all these bad reviews didn’t seem to start until We had booked haha. I had to book mine at my pre op, booked for 1st of December and I’ve got the hairdressers afterwards as I’m sure I’ll be desperate by then! I would ring and ask for the nurse, she can book it for you. Im sure I heard it effects the guarantee for your implants aswell, just keep ringing reception xx

I was a 34b and had 400/425 high profile overs for asymmetry. Wanted to be about a DD, not sure I’ll measure that though as they aren’t as big as I thought. I’ll probably measure a D. We’ll see though xx

How many cocodamol are you both taking 1 or 2? I was scared to take two because the nurse said it would space me out but I’m in quite a lot of pain 🙁 xxx

Hey girls just checking in!! I made it to get my hair done today with a bit of a hand but im terrible staying in doibg nothing tho been banished bak to vegetating on the sofa again haha! A little bit more mobile today with arms still stiff n top half feelibg very heavy today feeling like my chest bone been ripped aparr to be honest skin that tight, iv been taking two co codomol tablets with iburofen in intervals just keep them up!! Anyone feel short of breath?? In feelibg worried bout changing from my sports bra to the macom what r u girls in? Which is best I dont want them to set in thw wronf position hahha x

How did you manage to get your hair done, I’m amazed that’s possible haha your made of strong stuff . I’ve been wearing Macom but wish I bought a sports bra as they are soo tight. Apparently that’s good for healing and swelling but it’s such a relief to take it off, I’ve only done this twice for about five minutes. I do feel short of breath but I just try to have a deep breath which is sore but helps. I’m going to up my painkillers at the next dose to two. Let’s hope tomorrow is much better xxx

I’m not short of breath Hun but my cleavage feels like it’s being pulled apart! I’ve been wearing my Macom, gonna wash it today and put my other Macom on. I have sports bras but don’t feel ready to put them on yet. My left boob is fine but my right is being an absolute pain! All down the outside near my armpit it’s just constantly nagging. Glad you girls are doing ok. We will get through this! Haha xx

How we feeling ladies? Any improvement!? Im okay still stiff on sides with limited movement my arms are becoming less heavy tho so thata good! Feeling like my chest is tearingbin two today feels very uncomfortable! ! Is the ice pack working? Iv uped my doses last night and this morning but made me feel dizzy and tired again so took thwm back down. Ant signs of dropping? Mine are so high!! Xx

I’m pleased your arms are coming back to life. I’ve upped my dose to two tablets which is helping but I’m sleeping a lot, which to be fair is probs a good thing. I thought I’d be looking after my kids by now but I’ve hardly seen them since I had the op 🙁 which is only two days but feels like ages as I miss them. Ice packs are fab using them constant although the swelling seems to get bigger every time I sleep lol. How long do we have to sleep upright for? Xx

Hi girls! My swelling has got better but my right boob is still giving me massive grief it hurts to do anything with my right arm as my right boob just goes mental! I kept taking my cocodamol (nurse told me it was codeine and when I looked at the packet this morning it says cocodamol haha) but the dose has knocked me sick today, not hungry, very dizzy and tired and confused so I’m gonna just take one tablet next time! Glad you’re both doing okay. Are either of you on the booby Facebook page? Xx

Also I was told to sleep upright for 3 weeks, how long are you doing it for? Slept better last night but I woke up flat on my back so that’s probably why. Oops! xx

Ooh no I dont think im on the fb page im not very good with techy stuff ha! Yes iv been sleeping rather up right tho woke up this morning flat on my back aswell and completely stuck haha had to laugh at myself!! Awh yes must b realy struggle with kiddies about most I hav to see to is the cat lol! I did sane with tablets I thought they wer codiene but in fact cocodomol n iv reduced the dose now too as felt very odd earlier so wont do that again!! Pain not so bad but I kwep feeling a pressure and unease in thr middle of my chest im still to scared to take my bra off aha, Iv found that my nipple sensation is ther but all the stretched skin is quite itchy? Xx

Yeah my skin is still itchy think that’s a good sign though. My cleavage is very tight too. My nipple sensation has completely gone in both they’re both numb at the moment. Aparently I was meant to have booklets of what to expect etc at my pre op not been given anything xxx

Just a quick question..I have my op in the 8th of December at first trust!
A girl who got a boob job a couple of years ago mentioned the drains being removed whilst she was awake a couple of hours after her op!? This has freaked ne out as she said it was agonising ? Xx

Hi Hun, depends who your surgeon is. Not all surgeons use drains. Mine doesn’t, he’s called dr traynor. Who is yours? Xx

Hiya @zoe I had drains, mine were taken out the morning after (I stayed over night) they were uncomfortable being taken out I won’t lie !! But I had a doctor each side and it was over before I knew it 🙂 I’m 9 days post op now and feeling much better now thank god! I had 485cc unders and chose to have teardrops for a more natural look. Xxx

Hello ladies!

I had mine done 27th (friday) and oh my god im in so much pain! I cant move without a bit of help! Has it gotten easier for any of you? I woke up at 5am and felt like my back was broken as i couldn’t move or anything ! I think it was due to my pillows not supporting me. I’ve been taking 2 of the prescribed painkillers every 4 hours, when do you squeeze in the ibuprofen? I hope you both don’t mind the add! Xx

Also i had drains and i didn’t feel a thing when they were taken out !!! Nurse was really surprised. I was glad though as she had told me it would be painful! I hope im just brave and that there isn’t a problem to why i didnt feel it lol xx

@zoe I had 300cc not been in much pain just very tight and restricted

Samantha he didn’t tell me! No one has told me anything. I’m having my 1 week appt tomorrow want me to ask? Xx
