All done at first trust in Preston and so happy with my results so far. My admission time was 10am, arrived at 9.30 and was shown straight to my room where I gowned up. Next I waited until 11:00 until the nurse came and we t through pre op questions and took blood pressure, my rough time to go down was 12:45, I was 5th on list and dr Traynor was already on 2nd op. I then waited to see ward doctor to go through paper work again and ask more questions, followed by mr Traynor who came and drew on me and said he would see me after lunch time being 12:30 when I saw him, lovely man. Then I saw anaesthetist who asked more questions etc. 1:45 the nurse came to collect me to walk to theatre, had monitors attached and then time to be put to sleep. The nurse and anaesthetist made me feel at ease talking to me as I was put to sleep. Next I woke up and wheeled back to my room to be met by my boyfriend, in abit of pain or more uncomfortable than anything on my incisions rather than pain. I slept for about an hour afterwards until I needed more obs done, nurse came to help put my bra on, (m&s bra so comfortable and supportive, I love it) got ready and was told I would be able to go about 6ish. I had some toast which went down a treat as I was starving and had a cup of coffee.5:25 nurse said I could go as I was all ready and my obs were fine. Back at the ibis hotel which is so close to hospital sat watching TV waiting for my dominos pizza. Still no pain just uncomfortable and feel like I have heavy bags on my chest. I love them already however I hope the swelling goes down soon as the look huge and don’t feel like mine. I had 375cc hp unders from 32a. Can’t thank the staff at the hospital enough and mr Traynor. Very happy xxx
