All my pics finally up…2 weeks post op

Hiya!

I had 375cc, high profile overs 2 weeks ago yesterday with Dr Singh at the Fitzroy. The hospital experience was brilliant, nice clean room and all the nurses and Dr Singh were lovely. I was an overnight case so arrived at 12 and I went down to theatre at 4pm. The tvs in the room don’t work so glad I took my tablet as the time dragged as I was so excited about getting my new boobs! You’re taken to a little room next to theatre to be put to sleep and next thing I knew I was wake in recovery talking about Disney land!

Straight after surgery I felt fine and got some tea and toast then looked at my boobs…to be honest i was freaked out!! They were different sizes and both nipples were pointing in completely different directions. Tried to tell myself I expected they would look weird to start with but I was worried! The following day I was in a bit more pain but the nurses were bringing me co-codomal. When the doctor came to discharge me he only gave me antibiotics and ibuprofen, I had to ask for the co-codomal (I would advise this as I did need them all!)

The first few days at home were ok but I was in a lot of pain in me left boob. I had this constantly ripping/burning pain across it whenever I used my left arm and sometimes I was almost crying in pain. I slept quite a lot to begin with as the anesthetic was coming out but then I really struggled sleeping unless I took co-codomal to take away the pain and make me drowsy. This coupled with the fact my boobs looked completely mental was getting to me a bit but I had big boobs and knew it would be worth it. I was so so bloated too. I took charcoal tablets but am not convinced they worked as I really did look 6 months pregnant!

7 days post op I went to have my strapping taken off (which was getting really uncomfortable!) And I LOVED them! The nurse had to practically drag me away from the mirror! Ha. Dr Singh obviously knows what’s he is doing and strapped them in the weird way so they would settle proper and they did. Felt so good to not have strapping on.

2 weeks on I’m really starting to love them. In all honesty I wish I would have gone bigger as in clothes they dont look much different but hope once I can wear normal bras they will look much better. I am still getting quite a but of pain in my left boob but think it’s just healing a little slower than my right.

I definitely recommend Dr Singh and MYA

Thanks ladies…no problem for the adds! Yeah sarah it’s a leopard print rim one…it so tight, they won’t be moving at all when I’m back in the gym ha! Even tho it is a bit painful (and you get fat for a week with all the bloat! Ha) it is definitely worth it. Best decision I have ever made. If I could change 1 thing I would insist on going a bit bigger xxx

Such a helpful post Kayleigh. Its good to hear the good and the not so good parts of the journey. Makes me feel like I’ve got a better idea of what to expect. Hope you don’t mind the add 🙂 x

Yeah no problem for the adds, thanks for asking! There are ups and downs but the downs only last a short time 🙂 I’m so happy I finally.decided to do it and MYA are great 🙂 I’m currently about a 34e but I think I will end up about a 34dd as they have got a bit smaller xx

I am with Dr Singh on wednesday … 400cc UHP … very nervous. I’m glad to hear you had lots of strapping … it seems some girls only leave with small plasters or bandages and I was getting worried! Would love to add 🙂
