allergic to steri strips

Hi girls. I had my contraceptive implant out this week and they put steri strips over the wound. I have had an allergic reaction to the steri strips and my skin has blistered where all the strips where. I was just wondering how this would effect me when I have my rhinoplasty next year with all the bandages and stiches etc? What if my face blisters? ! Thanks xxx

Sorry to hear all not well. Make sure you ring your PC (or preferably your nurse) and tell them so they can arrange alternative dressings that wont irrate your skin. good luck x
