I’m 17 years old, turning 18 in a couple of weeks and for as long as I can remember I have never been happy with the size of my chest and have wanted to go for breast enlargement. It is for no reason other than my own confidence and wanting to feel pretty/fit into the dresses and outfits I like. I am aware of the risks and also the positives, I was just wondering if anyone went through the same at my age and then had the breast surgery, if anyone has any advice?
Hey Hun, Ive just had mine done, and I’m 40, my only regret is not doing it earlier, but I do think your age is too young… I’m having this discussion/debate with my 17 yr old daughter at the mo.. she wants hers done when she turns 18 in a few months… she unfortunately has inherited my flat chestness… So I totally understand why she wants one, and will support her, but I do think that 18 is a bit too young.. But when you’ve got confidence issues, which I totally know about it is hard… Only you can make the decision, maybe go for a consultation at MYA and see what the specialists say… Good luck Hun xxxxx
My mum is the same, she is supportive but wishes I wouldn’t get the procedure done. Thanks for the helpful reply, Jo xx
I’m coming up 21 and I’m so glad I’ve waited. Mainly because my whole life style has changed and more fit and healthy too. I think 18 is young but it’s your choice and make sure you research as much as possible xx
@melissa hey Hun, I have just had mine done last Tuesday and I am 19, 20 in a few month. I also wanted it done as long as I remember and so far I am so glad I have done it. Just make sure you do plenty of research as it is a massive commitment to make. People will always have negative things to say about it, but don’t let them put you off as like you say it’s your decision, no one else can make it for you. Good luck with your decision Hun xxx
Hi Melissa, I’ve just turned 21 and had my op 3 weeks ago. If I had the money a few years ago I would have gone through with it then. I’ve had no regrets but make sure you do loads of research before as it is a big commitment. Good luck xxx
I would 100% go for it, if I had the money to do it earlier I would of I’ve just turned 20 and it’s the best decision I’ve made! Xxx
I have wanted a boob job ever since I was 16! I’m 27 now & only just had it done. If I had the money once I turned 18 I would of had it done then.
If it’s something that you have thought about for a while go for it!! Book in for a consultation & take it from there. Good luck with whatever you choose. X
Hey chick, I was the exact same as you I’d wanted mine done ever since I was young just because I knew they’d always be small! I’m 20 next month and had mine done on Tuesday. I’m still really uncomfortable pain wise atm but I know it’ll be worth it 😊 I’d just say make sure you have support from someone like a family member or friend because it’s such a massive experience it helps to have someone to go through it with you. I wish I’d been a little bit healthier before as well because you can’t exercise for a long time afterwards and I just know the weights gunna creep up on me 😅 good luck I hope you make the right decision xx
Hi 🙂 @mcmc13081
I’m 2 weeks PO and 22 and my only regret is that I didn’t get this earlier! I’ve been so self conscious ever since I was at school and was severely bullied for having tiny boobs (even by previous bfs!). I know it sounds dramatic, but it did seriously control my life. I hated wearing massive padded bras, not being able to fit into clothes or bikinis properly and to be honest, just not feeling like a complete woman. I feel so happy now and so much more confident, as long as you’ve definitely stopped growing I don’t think you should worry too much about your age. If it affects you a lot like it did for me, I would definitely say go for it but just make sure you do a lot of researching into sizes etc!
Good luck and I hope this helps 🙂 xxx

Hey I turned 18 in November but I’ve only just managed to persuade my mum to let me get them done. I started researching at 16! As long as you know it’s what you want and it will make you feel confident go for it xxx
