Almost 4 weeks PO – bikini

I’ll be 4 weeks PO this Wednesday, at the weekend me and my BF are going to a log cabin that has a steam room and a hot tub. I wanna buy a bikini for it but I know ur not meant to get measured until 6 weeks, anyone know if it’s just this reason u have to wear a sports bra for 6 weeks or will it be something to do with the way a bra/bikini sits on your scars? I wouldn’t get an underwired one but just not sure what type or size to buy to take with me!!xxx

Bikinis aside you shouldn’t get in a hot tub till you’re at least 6 weeks post op, not sure about the steam room xx

Not sure what happened to my last post. I thought the 6 weeks rule was for swimming and exercising or will it be still a risk of infection on my scars??xxx

That’s right yeah, basically the same as a bath plus with the added pressure of the jacuzzi it probably wouldn’t be good for the implants xx

roll on 6 weeks!!! It’s been booked since Xmas… Not good timing!! Looks like I’ll be sitting on the edge dangling my feet in!!xxx

Aww I know it’s a pain isn’t it. Yep , i’m just one day ahead of you and can’t wait to wear normal bras and nice tops and dresses but don’t have my next appointment for 3 weeks xx

I’ve been out and worn no bra to fit into a nice dress and was fine, I also had to sleep one night with no bra or top as my nipples were so sore and sticking to my bra!! But it will be so nice to just be able to wear all kinda of bras and dresses without the worry!!xxx
