Afternoon girls, some of you might remember my previous post about a possible revision – my surgeon has just released my notes to the hospital pending approval. Basically my right implant (left in the photos) is still pretty tight and sitting too high, when I push both together the right doesn’t push inwards if you get me. The implant flattens at the inner part and gets pushed upwards, so my surgeon is going to close the area at the top (???) and hopefully lower the pocket allowing it to finally settle. I still feel the left implant is too high, but in a few years I aim to have them redone anyway – I currently have 300cc moderate profile round unders, and I’d eventually like to go for something with more projection!
Hope all you ladies are doing well, and good luck to all with ops coming soon! My 8 months have flown by, I’m dreading going under GA again but I can’t wait for both boobs to be the same!
What a shame as they suit your body so well, make your waist look even small haha I’m so jealous! Hope it gets sorted soon for you x
I’m having to get mine done again. Mine look exactly the same except the one that’s sitting higher has capsulated ????
I put a rolls eyes emoji not question marks lol
Hi girls! Sorry I haven’t replied to the last couple of comments, I don’t log on much anymore. I heard from my PA today, the medical committee approved the revision and I’m booked in for the 16th June. That’ll be a whole year after my original op lol but at least it’s sorted. Through all the waiting I half considered just paying for another op but that’d be 9k down the drain in 12 months!
Thankyou for sharing your story Caitlin, I hope your surgery corrects the problem. it must be so disappointing to be a year on and not feel like they have not settled into the shape you expected. Can I say the left boob looks amazing and the size of them looks in proportion for your figure, if they can drop the right one down a bit then they will look perfect. Please continue to share your journey so we can find out how you get on.
Hi Caitlin, can I ask who your surgeon was with mybreast? I had my surgery done last week with them. Good to know they are doing it all for free but a year is a long wait x
@beckis I fully understood that it wouldn’t be 100% symmetrical and I expected some degree of difference between them but it’s too noticeable. The year has flown by to be honest, I’ve stuffed my boobs into a good bra and forgotten all about it lol 🙂 I wondered if I really needed to go through the revision and I decided if I’m stuck with them for the next however many years, and if the medical committee see the issue, I guess I should get it resolved rather than regret it and end up spending money on another op so soon.
I’ll be keeping everyone up to date – I’ll try and keep more active on here in case I can help anyone else in the same situation!
Hi Caitlin, i’m 3 months post op and have the same problem…my right is smaller higher and hasn’t dropped like the left…as in right handed i knew the muscles would be tighter and was told it can take up to 6 months to a year to settle…i’m just hoping that it does settle i love my left boob lovely shape and looks bigger but the right is not like that and feel like you there is too much of a difference if it doesn’t change 🙁 xx
