am i allowed to have a bath?

i am nearly 3 weeks post op.i am taking only shower now.am i allowed to have a ath?and for how long?

Hi my op is in Monday, but at my pre op assessment I was told u can bath once dressings have been removed at your post op check x

So can bath after a week, so 3 weeks must surely be fine x

Yes. I’ve been bathing since last Tuesday once dressings are off it’s
Ok if you have no holes… Don’t soak the scars for to long, and don’t do if you have actual open wounds as of course you don’t want a boob full of bath water, but as long as you have scabs / scars all along go for it. I recommend for your first one to be on the safe side and you have none or minimal bubbles in the bath you don’t want to irritate the scars.

Just be careful first bath 😉

Company party on Friday 😉 either that or I’m tempted to go 50 shades of gray and wear a boned corset and rubber skirt 😉 bet that would look awesome with the new boobs 😉

Both my ops I was told no submerging incisions for six weeks, so showers or shallow baths after your week post op appointment, then a proper soak after your six week one xx

I had a big soak on day 9….it was heaven!! Xx
