Am I CRAZY!??

Only had BA just over three weeks ago and I’ve just booked to have rhino on 4th November with Dr Gonschoir!!! Arghh!! I am getting rid of a slight bump which you can only see from a side profile but I’ve been conscious of it for years and now I’ve been under GA once I feel I can conquer the world… 😐 haha!!

Oh I’m sooo scared!! What’s the pain like girls to anyone who’s had rhino? I’m hoping it won’t be as bad as boob job pain i experienced in first week!!! I was told it’s not painful! Just uncomfortable?

My friends just had rhino, uplift and implants! Lol.. She’s been fine though (just said she can’t wait to scratch her nose lol) so I’m sure you’ll be ok 🙂 after my BA I want laser eye surgery and botox! Haha x

Do you know what I should have just done both at same time lol but not sure if I could have dealt with two types of pain in one go! Glad to hear your friend isn’t in too much discomfort – that’s reassuring to know 🙂

I had my eyes lasered two years ago and was the best thing I’ve ever done honest! No more lenses everyday at last!! I actually forgot what it’s like to not wake up in morning and not see!!

After my ba I’m getting laser eye surgery… If I could afford rhino after my eyes I definitely would… Maybe in a couple of years for me!

Ooh I payed about 6500 I think ( a lot more) as I went to one of the top places in Harley street think it was the London vision clinic but they are amazing and had 100%success rate. Also my pupils were like really big apparently so they had more to laser! I was -4.5 in both eyes short sighted and now can see perfectly!

Grace it’s deffo this forum !! I’ve always wanted bump gone in nose all my life but facial surgery seems so daunting doesn’t it but hey going in for the plunge!

Go for it! If I could afford it I would have everything done! I’m having my ba tomorrow and nervous about the GA but you make it sound like a breeze so that makes me feel better! Defo getting Botox for Xmas too! X

The reason I need botox is cause I’m blind and spent years squinting ahahah! X

I’m having 365 soft touch unders tomorrow! My admission time is 11am, I hope they take me straight down as I’m very nervous but I know I’m in safe hands. My kids have had colds and I’m convinced I’m going to wake up ill in the morning and they won’t do the op! It’s just all in my head though, I’m such a worry wart! X

Hey, Your not crazy at all, i went to see Dr G a few weeks ago as i have a bump on my nose and hate it! hopefully having surgery in jan to get rid of it but im not having anything done to my tip just having it made into a mild curve and a little more narrow on the bridge so it all fits in. Do you know if you are having open or closed? Im nervous that after my nose im going to think that i will also be able to rule the world and book in for my boobs! Eeeeeeeekkk xxxxx

My rhino was painless! – and still is!… i had closed surgery but the most painful part was when the surgeon took my splint off after 1week. Now the shape is lovely but the bridge of my nose is soo swollen! – i look like the girl from avatar! 🙁 Not back at work until next tuesday but i have a feeling this swellings not going to disappear fast! if you can have a BA AND laser eye surgery the nose will be a breeze! 😀 xxx

Part of me wishes I just did it with the BA as when my six week period is over it’s then rhino time lol!
Jodie my consultation with Dr G is next Tues so I will be able to fill you in then but it sounds as if we are having same thing done to be honest! Provisionally booked my op date for 4th November so assuming all goes well next tues it’s really going to be happening!

Jade it’s reassuring to talk to someone who has just had it done and so happy to hear you haven’t been in pain! I’m getting bump on bridge removed and really worried about swelling. Is it really bad?? As I’m so vain I won’t go out of the house as I’ll be so paranoid I
look like a freak. Have you uploaded any pics of your nose with cast off as I’d love to see 🙂 is the bruising bad? I’m aiming to go back to work after two weeks so do you think all bruising would have gone!? X

Yeah, im exactly the same, so vein! haha… I didn’t really worry about the swelling before hand but its hitting me now… Hes put me some plaster strips back over my nose to try and bring the swelling down and told me to get some sea salt spray to aid the healing process (which ive been using) ive also been putting ice packs on to try bring the swelling down but I cant see much change as of yet – im not gunna lie – I don’t think im going to be back at work unless some serious changes appear in the next 4 days – I honestly look like a cat and the bridge is twice the width it was before & I only had the hump removed 🙁 Almost cried when I had the cast off!
that’s NOT AT ALL to say your swelling will be as bad as mine! The surgeon said it can take upto a year but should see most of the swelling gone within the first month… I bruise easily too and I was so purple! – but that seems to be going pretty fast and I think that by 4 days time that will be completely gone.
Ill upload another pic now to show you the results straight after the op. I’d upload a pic of my nose now but because of the strips covering it you still cant really tell how bad the swelling is…. But lots of girls have had no problems after 2 weeks and were fine to go straight back to work! 🙂
Although ive had a lot of swelling im 100% happy ive had it done and I know I will be so happy with the shape once the swelling has eventually gone down xxx

The bridge is twice as wide as it was before!??? Eaaaaak no way hun!!!!! Big hugs!!! I am pretty sure it will subside over the new few weeks hopefully days! But does it look better than before at least? It will all be worth it don’t you worry! God I passed out when getting strapping off and seeing boobs for first time as I panic so bad about things so god knows how I’m going to react when cast comes off and that’s on the face!!!! I’m really scared!!!! 🙁

Oh no honestly, The hump is gone and I know im going to love it! so much better than before – just need the swelling to go down!…. not quite sure how im gunna do the work situation yet as there is no WAY im going back until the swellings gone down to a reasonable amount – hoping ill be able to blag a sick note when I go back to see the nurse on Monday for another checkup! xxx

I don’t think the swelling looks bad hun as you can definitely notice bump as completely gone. It’s the bruising that looks so painful!! But like you said it’s not painful so it’s a case of looking worse than it is!

Hi girls I had open rhino and had a lot done to my nose! It was not painful at all the most painful part was having the stitches taken out! Swelling can take a year to go down after having rhinoplasty I’m 7 months post op and although a lot of it has gone down now there is still swelling in the tip but the good thing is about closed rhino is your swelling won’t be as bad because it’s done through the nostrils ! It’s definitely worth it though and Dr Gonschior is an amazing surgeon I had him too! 🙂 xx

No I don’t mind I’ve accepted you so you can have a look at my pics, my bruising went after about three weeks but I looked ok after 2 I just put a good consealer on under my eyes the swelling was the worst bit for me x
