Am I ok to bath??

I’m 3.5 weeks po and was wondering if I can have a proper bath yet?? My incisions are healed….I have had two c sections and was told I could bath after a week once my would was healed so is it the same?? Thanks in advance xx

I am a week post op today and went for my check up the nurse said it was ok for me to shower and if I get any soap on the wounds just make sure to shower it off . I am also wondering about a bath too, if soap from shower is ok then surely the bath is the same ??

At my one week check update my nurse told me not to bath till 6 weeks coz of sitting in dirty water but surely if the incisions are closed over it will be fine? I was bathing 10 days after a c section which is much more of a big wound :/ xx

Im 3 months post op and got given the ok to bath at 6 weeks but not to soak till 3rd month

I would check with your nurse when you next go just to be sure x

I got told not to bath for 6 weeks because the incisions shouldn’t be in water too long as they haven’t healed properly and could get infected but after week 3 I started to have baths and I was fine, just made sure I didn’t stay in too long and died them properly xxx

I have been bathing since my one week post op but i healed well and don’t put soap in the bath when I do and when I wash the breast area i don’t rub soap where the incisions are x

PS i keep the waterline lower than my breasts x
