I’m having surgery on 13th June but do I HAVE to buy a macom bra for after surgery or just a sports bra? If just a sports bra is the case, how would I have a clue what size to buy as your size is never guaranteed?!
Sorry if I sound thick!! Xx
I got a macom but i hardly ever wear it, it irrates me. I got a few sports bras and left all the tags on and returned the ones that were of no use, but as a guide 150cc is supposed to be roughly a cup size, but honestly with all the swelling etc you’ll be best getting a few dif ones. I also was too swollen for my macom for the first week so good job i did get sports bras! X
Are you having strapping do you no? I ordered two macoms but haven’t actually got mine on now as the strapping is so so tight so I’ll wait u till the strapping comes off,I really found the macom comfy, pre op anyway. And I liked that you just ordered your back size rather than buying a few different sports bras in diff sizes xx
I ordered a couple of Macom’s I find them really comfy and supportive and they don’t irritate my incisions so well worth the money. I also liked that you didn’t have to mess about with sizes as the last thing I wanted to be doing after my op was shopping. xx
Hi there..I also ordered Macom bras and thought they did the job really well, they are comfy and supportive. I haven’t done my surgery with Mya, but my friend did and she said you get a discount for being Mya’s patient. I can check with her which was the discount code if you want 🙂 xx
I have a medium black macom that I am selling. Worn once and washed. X
@rudibelle have you still got it? X
Emily are you having your surgery at Fitzroy? I’m having mine June 13th too! Xx
Aww no it’s at Preston but let’s keep each other updated!!
What you having m? Xx
Hi girls, I’ve got a couple of macoms which are comfy but I think they make your boobs look a funny shape. ? Might just be cos I’m only a week post op so they haven’t dropped or settled yet but I would highly recommend the Asda post surgery bra’s, you get 2 for £15 and they are sooo comfy. You can just order small, medium or large (I went for medium cos of my swelling, I’m normally a size 10 but needed a bit bigger so went for medium which I think is 12-14 – I was previously wearing an asda one size 36E but the band was digging in and I’m reluctant to buy a 38 back cos it might not fit in a few weeks when my swelling goes). These are so soft and supportive but they keep going out of stock so best order quick if you want some. Xx
