Anesthetic!

Silly thing to post but the anesthetic is seriously concerning me. I’ve never been put under before and another silly question (apologies) can anyone here describe how the implant feels when inside you lol ??

Lol I think we worry about everything and anything. Once the cannula is in your hand sharp scratch, they’ll just put it in, I was talking to them for ages before I eventually fell off, they make you feel so comfortable n defo in safe hands x

im being so silly aren’t I haha. can you have anything before the cannula goes in like gas to knock you out a bit :/ ? im such a fairy about this haha !!

I had O2 after the cannula, think it was because I was still waffling on lol. But honest just felt a little drunk n the next min I was asleep x

You can ask for numbing cream on your hands so you don’t feel it! I’m going to ask tomorrow ha ha xx

i realllly hope the numbing cream and 02 will help. I have such a fear of needles 🙁 xx good luck tomorrow !!

I didn’t feel them putting it in and fell asleep as he was talking lol, felt like it was over in 10secs (the whole op that is) xx

My absolute fear is that I’ll wake up in the middle! I have terrible nightmares about that! :\ HA xx

Thanks for the reassurance! Omg yeah same haha i’ve googled anasthesia awareness and scared myself silly lol! Just think though if we are awake imagine the compensation 😉 😉 omg i am terrible hahaha!! i am suuuure we will be fine 🙂 🙂 xx
