Anti depressants !!

Hey ladies have any one on here had there BA while being on anti depressants??
I take anti depressants and was told that I need a docs letter to state that I’m stable!
I feel a little bit like they think I’m some sort of nutter lol.

I’ve seen a lot of girls who are on anti depressants, have had to get an OK from the Dr, I had to get one for being anemic.. I’d try and get your doctor to sort it asap though because it can be a long process, my letter was still trying to get sorted the day before my op! X

I haven’t been on anti depressants for over a year and I’ve still had to obtain a note from my GP for my surgery in a few weeks.

It’s annoying but I think it’s good that they check that you’re making an informed decision!

Hi sweet, I’m on anti depressants I had to have a doctors letting stating I’m in the right frame of mind for the op. They only need a letter because they don’t want someone going through a bad patch with their depression and making a decision like this just because their going through a bad patch. I went with Harley medical, they’re a little bit more laid back than mya I found Xx

Hey girls thanks for the reply. I know they are just being cautious but it is annoying as my doctor takes so bloody long to do anything. Lol. Just gonna have to keep on at her I guess lol

Hi I had my op done 2/2/16 in Fitzroy an I’m on antidepressants. Just a letter from GP stating the medication you are taking, how long you have been taking it and that the depression is under control. My GP had an issue releasing the information without anything from Mya so I had to get Mya to email a request to give to the dr to sign and fax off to them. X

Thanks Danni that has put my mind at ease just keep thinking that something is gonna go wrong and they won’t operate. I’ve been on anti depressants for years because I do struggle with my depression and my boobs is a massive part of my depression because I hate them and feel like a boy lol. X
