Antibiotics after po

Hi what antibiotics were you given to take home with you also how many days were you told to take them for?

I was given c cefALEXin and was told to take for 3 days , which I did but iv started taking them again because I don’t think 3 days enough…..
What is everyone else’s thought?

Hi, I was given co-Amoxiclav, to take 3 a day for 7 days. Was told take for as long as can as some can’t mange all week as they make some girls feel sick. I’ve managed take them all, got my last 3 today xx yours may be stronger, what mg are yours? Xxx

Oh really….? I was told three days as people are becoming immune to antibiotics so a shorter course would be best, they are 500mg… I’m taking them again after stopping for 3 days, don’t think 3 days is long enough in my opinion . ahh least you’ve nearly finished 🙂 yeah I spose it depends what ones they are, not had any sicknesss throughout the whole op procedure so quite lucky as know a lot of girls still feeling sick :/ xx

I was given erythromycin to take 4 times a day for 5 days. I am allergic to amoxicillin though so not sure if that’s why they gave me erythro x

You only become immune to them if you take them on a regular basis. Have u got a week worth of them tho? It won’t hurt you to take them if you aren’t getting any sickness. Each surgeon must think differently as you see so many different things been said to everyone on here xx

Yes got a weeks worth obv iv already had 3 days out of it from day of surgery ….will take them till Friday I think!!!
One other question, once you’ve had a ba do you need to go up in a top size, I’m a size 8 and worried they aren’t going to sit right on me so thinking will I need size 10 tops, how have you found clothes sizing after? Xx

It depends how big you’ve gone but tops should still fit you just a lot better than they did before unless they were tight before. I’m only 1wpo today so been wearing g button up shirts all week as I darent lift my arms to high to put on my normal tops yet lol. Can’t wait wear my normal clothes. Going see the nurse today and got a few questions ask her as I’ve been stressing about a few things but honestly think they all normal just been paranoid and not knowing what to expect. This forum is good but also can be a nightmare as everyone different and we look at all others and compare them panic if we are different lol xxx

Yeah same and a thin floral dressing gown thing I got!!! So limited to what we can wear plus the bras are a nightmare to cover because they have big straps and more like a crop top than a bra :/
Lol not lifted me too much, scared they will pop out or flip over lol

What kind of things are you doing ATM? Iv lifted my 1year old a couple of times but put my foot in between her legs and hold her arms so not soo much weight on my arms…. can’t hoover yet but been doing washing up, polishing and to shut windows & get in high cupboards for food etc I have to use a stool as can’t stretch arms up lol
Also feel kinda normal so forget I shouldn’t do things till I get a pain or twinge….xx

I can’t get anything off top shelf in my cupboards n Monday I loaded the washer then realised after it was done I couldn’t peg it out lol. I had a bit of a clean up yesterday, did mange hoover but only slowly. I’m having a lot more trouble with my left n my right feels like I not had anything done. If my left went the same I’d be able do a lot more. Managed cook a bit more than basic food last night but hubby had help me lift things. Can’t believe what’s we go through for nice boobs. I just want feel normal now, I’ve got 3 boys and eldest was a massive help the first few days as I could hardly move. Just have keep telling the littler ones calm down as they keep jumping around me and I’m scared they will fall on me xxxx

Yeah same my left feels so fine don’t feel anything nd like not had an op, my right is completely opposite!!!
I was told o had two surgeons put my implants in, which I’m not happy about as Iowa assumes I was just having mr meleagros and I was paying for his service, the nurse said that maybe that’s why one hurts more as two different ppl doing it!!!!
Will find out about that though when I speak to transform.
Oh god it’s a worry isn’t it when they are jumping around you and you have a fear of them banging into you, know that feeling as my 1yr old is the same but she doesn’t understand:/ xx

I honestly don’t know if of coped without the hubby, day 2-5 I was in agony and couldn’t do anything, couldn’t even get in bed had sleep on the sofa sitting up. And the bloating as been crazy, anyone would think I was pregnant not had New boobs haha. I was told my surgeon leans over when he does one instead of going around so he must of been leaning on my left side lol. My boys keep asking y I got poorly boobs lol Xxx

Poor you 🙁 it’s not nice, iv been ok since day one , thought I’d be HORRENDOUS but am ok and doing most things now!!! Really bad itching under my banadges where incisions are, you got any itching at all?
Yeah defo takes the pressure off you having some help doesn’t it….
I’ll never forgive my now ex for leaving me to it on my own the day we got home.

I have had itching last few days but that’s a good healing sign. Looking forward to seeing my scars as was told my surgeon was the neatest. I read your post about your ex leaving you like that, it’s disgusting. It’s his loss, your better off without someone like that and like you say you’ve managed on your own which half is girls wouldn’t have been able to do you should be proud of yourself. Will update you when I get back from seeing the nurse. Xxx

All healing well. The pains and tightness are all normal. Massive black bruises under dressings but scars look really neat. Xx

You won’t If your lucky lol. I couldn’t believe it as couldn’t see them but understand y I ache underneath now xxx

I am aching underneath and feels bruised, notice it more when been sitting for a while then go to get up or first thing in morning feels bruised and sort of heavy underneath feeling… 🙁

I had unders, I didn’t want massive boobs.
Everyone tells me unders are worse but I’m feeling absolutely fine, I’m even driving again lol

Yeah heard unders are worse. Haha are you actually, wow!! Think it’s 7 days should I may be able to start again from this sat then….

Yes, I honestly don’t feel like I’ve just had surgery! Really weird!
Well it all depends how you feel they usually say about two weeks..
