Any girls with Anaemia?

I got anaemia girls, just wondering if anyone else has it and did they do anything differently with you? Like more blood tests ect? X

Yeah, they had to take my bloods twice, to confirm that there hadn’t been any errors, and they asked me to start taking iron supplements. This was about a week before my op. Am now on Ferrous sulphate 200mg, once a day. You can buy it over the counter in a pharmacy. I never even knew I had anaemia before this. xxx

Awww no way! I was on ferrous sulphate 200mg too but now my doctor has given me ferrous fumarate 210mg! I found out when I was donating blood and can’t donate again as I got a really rare blood type which sucks! 🙁 xxx

I have anaemia aswell and have been on ferrous sulphate 200mg for years! Was just told to continue my medication, I don’t need to stop it for the op. Just need to stop taking the pill but other than that to carry on as normal!
