any ladies 9th may got 1 week post op check time yet?

my nurse said she would email this asap but haven’t received anything yet. she is on leave at the moment too so not sure if i could just ask fitzroy for this info after having my op done? x

My nurse told me to phone up about a week beforehand to book mine in. I’m on 3rd May xxx

Hi Helen, who is your PC?
When I went for my pre op with the nurse she booked me in for my post op appointment straight away and I chose a time there and then. I’d give them a quick call or email to chase up on that.
My op is also on the 9th may! Are you at Fitzroy? Xx

my PC is gabrielle, the only reason i couldn’t do it there and then was because my pre op was 31st march and my post op check is 16th may, so it was too early to book as the nurse didn’t have her times yet. i may call them on Monday as i am booking my hotel and parking then too! yes i am 😀 you excited?? i can’t wait! it’s so close now!! 2 weeks tomorrow eekk! ? you day case or overnight? xx

I had my pre op this week and booked my one week check. There were plenty slots available on the 16th so I wouldn’t worry! See you girls in two weeks (tomorrow)!! X

@helen ah I see! Yeah definitely give them a call Monday then.
I’m excited but so so nervous at the same time!! I’ve gone through this whole thing on my own I can’t wait to just have my new boobies ? I’m a day case, are you both too? @amberL

yeah i am a day case but staying over the night before to get there on time and so i am not driving at like 2/3am! haha it’s all so exciting!! ah that’s good, I will call tomorrow and book it. would the reception be able to sort it for me or should i call my PC? xx

Hey have any of u girls been told to stay in hotel the night after the op? I’m staying in hotel night before as I’m not risking travelling on the day as also dnt know if it will b early admission with it been day case, my surgeon doesn’t use drains so I dnt have to stay in xx

i did because of where i live and there is possibility of an early admission time with day cases. which surgeon have you got kel? i hope I don’t need a drain! ? xx

I’m a day case and I’m in London the day before so made sense to stay over but I’m going home afterwards because I think I’ll want my own bed! It’s hard to know what you will be like but hopefully I’ll just sleep through the journey and it won’t be too bad. So excited now!!!

i really want to go home same day to my own bed but it’s a 5 hour drive :/ i was considering going to my nans as that’s only 2 hours, but i am unsure how uncomfortable i will be afterwards? xx
