Any one had a BA with small children? Help!!

So I have my BA on the 20th of November but I’m slightly worried about the recovery after as I have a 4 year old who I could proberly get looked after for about 2 days after the op but no much more! If you have small kids then u will know that they never stop lol so I’m slightly worried he is 4 so I can proberly get away with not picking him up but obviously I’ll still need to get him dressed and help him with stuff! Has anyone managed to have a BA and still be able to get on with looking after little ones?

Hi kim i had my op on Sunday I have a little girl she’s 3 in January she’s been so good and understanding that I’m in a little pain and can’t pic her up but even still I wouldn’t advise you to look after your little boy alone after just 2 days I’m still sore and can’t do anything for myself yet so always good to have someone to help you with your little boy and your recovery too x x x

Oh really, That’s what I was worried about! I don’t have anyone that can help me after that 🙁 I’m not on speaking terms with him dad so asking him to take time off work will just be a waste of time! And everyone else I know works too! Hmmm 🙁

I’m having my ba on Friday and have 3 children ages 8, 2 and 20 weeks my partner is about for a week then I’m on my own I reckon it will be hard but I’m hoping I’ll be ok in the second week
