Any tips on getting the sticky adhesive from strapping off my skin?

Does anyone have any tips on removing the adhesive from my skin from where I’ve had the strapping. I was given 1 wipe but it wasn’t enough and it seems the more I rub it just spreads it around my body. Any ideas before I completely exfoliate all my skin off lol. x

I had to take mine off early as I reacted to the tape just do a bit at a time leave it a while then go for a bit more until it’s off the sticky it’s self will come off it’s self over time if you want you could call the hospital and voice your not happy with 1 wipe and demand they send you more first class I would or if you live close go and get them I was told to just wash it of gently easy said than done as it’s a pain to get off just don’t go to hard by the scars u don’t want to irritate them more whilst they are still very soft and healing . You might be able to get something from your doctors or the chemist to remove it

The brand simple do wet wipes that are kind to skin and not perfumed I was ok to use them but check with your surgeon first as different surgeons allow different things and you want to be following his advice only as he no his methods for recovery for the technique he has used on you in your augementation

Somebody suggested to me to use nail varnish remover but I didn’t fancy that lol. I’m not one to complain either so I’ll just hang on another week as I still can’t shower properly yet anyway. Hopefully by next week it’ll have come off. x

baby oil is good for removing sticky!x

I used baby wipes to get most of it off and then just keep picking it off every time I shower mine lasted about a week of showering as I didn’t want to scrub hard or anything

I used nail varnish remover on the bits that weren’t sore and on those bits it’s best to pick it off not wipe. I had my boyfriend sat there for hours picking away haha xxx
