I just got the standard Macom bra and I’ve found it to be quite good; it is definitely very supportive and prevents any unnecessary movement.
I actually didn’t use very much at all on the day of my surgery, but I was very lucky and was in and out of hospital very quickly. I would certainly recommend bringing loose fitting trousers and a button or zip front top to get changed into afterwards, some books / magazines / headphones / phone / charger to pass the time during your wait before surgery, some throat sweets just in case you are a bit scratchy afterwards, and of course your bra to put on post surgery. I didn’t need anything else on my day.
