I’ve recently just undergone my surgery at the first trust at Preston to correct my tubular breast, I had a Areola reduction with a BA 250cc high profile overs! If anyone is going through the same procedure or has tubular breast I would be more than happy to answer any questions I know how daunting it can be
I went for my procedure on the 9/09 and was so so happy with My results from Dr Traynor I started crying anyone with tubular breast will understand how much of a relief it feels to feel like you have “normal boobs” I was worried at first that the Areola reduction wouldn’t fix the tubular appearance however the reduction also lifted the tissue providing me with such a nice breast shape! Unfortunately I had a haematoma so had to return to theatre today to get that drained but I still couldn’t be happier, please don’t hesitate to ask me anything girls xxx
Appologies for my spelling mistake in the title!
Hello hope you don’t mind the add I am getting Areola reduction and I feel so nervous about it x
Hey Emma course not I haven’t uploaded any pictures yet as I am only 2 days post op so I am bandaged up due to the haematoma, don’t feel nervous about it you’ll be absolutely fine! What day is your op? X
Hi Emily, I’m going for my first consultation next week and I think I have tubular breasts, I think I’ll need the areola reduction and implants, I’m glad your really happy with your results and surgeon. Can I add you ? xx
Course you can I haven’t got a before photo but trust me there 100x better hahah! If you have any worries or questions at all don’t hesitate to ask me!xxx
I think I have MILDLY tubular breasts, just quite pointy with puffy ish nipples, I’m saving for BA at the minute but I’m just so nervous in case I don’t get the result I want, I’ve heard some horror stories! I’ve added you, hope that’s okay it would really help to see your photos when you’re able to put some up! I think I’ll probably cry too post op, you’re totally right about how much it would mean to have normal boobs!!
Hi,
I think mine are slightly tubular. It would be great to see some pics when you have them The worst part is the “puffy” nipples. Do you mean they just reduces the size of the areola – like reduced the diameter of them? or did they remove some of the tissue to help “flatten” them? Did it cost alot more than a standard BA? I’m so worried about if I go ahead with the procedure and the nipples are still gross and low down
Are you happy with your results?
Hi Emily,
I hope you don’t mind the add, we have similar stats and I also have tubular breasts so would love to hear your story.
I have previously had a breast reduction on one side to fix the asymmetry but I’m still major,y unhappy with my breasts so looking at an enlargement. X
Hi Emily, I hope you don’t mind the add. I’m currently considering a BA as Ihave tubular breasts – didn’t even know there was a name for them until Dr Traynor told me – thought I was the only person in the world with the ‘tubular’ look. Had my consultation with Dr Traynor this week – just working out my pro’s and con’s! X
Hi ladies,
I also have mildly tubular breast and have just booked my surgery with mr traynor at Preston on 21st October.
He’s offered me HP overs , do you have any photos Emily? I literally have no idea what to expect! Getting quite nervous now! How long did it take you to feel better? I’ve only booked a week off work! Have you got any tips?
Thanks
Emily
