Anybody had semi permanent makeup for eyebrows!?

Hey

Im thinking about getitng this done as i use makeup everyday to make my eyebrows look better, would anyone have any advise on this as im not sure wether to get it done!

hi i had semi permanent eye brows done and it didnt seem to last too long at all, good while it lasted but it had faded a lot. then again they say that things such as sunbeds fade it more, and i was using sunbeds so that probably didnt help! now i just tint them too x

The thing is i seem to have gaps in the hair and they dont seem to grow as much anynmore lol x

how long did they last sarah, the lady doing them says they last years? did you like them when you had it done or did you regrett doing it? x

maybe for things like that is a good idea. i didnt get it from over plucking i just wanted more definition. you would be suprised how good an eyebrow pencil can be at covering them up as well as tint. but if it bothers u that much then i would go for it x

I’ve had it done, I overplucked my eyebrows and looked i’ll without makeup because my eyebrows were so sparse!

I did a load of research and had mine done in Bristol. And after i’d had them done because I had a shape perminately on my face it allowed me let my eyebrows grow back as I didn’t instantly pluck any new growth out of habit. Best thing I ever did!

I had it done about two years ago and want a top up soon I opted for hair simulation as apposed to a solid colour. It’s very subtle and get lots of compliments on the shape of my eyebrows. I had them threased the other day for the first time and the beautician said that the lady had done a great job!. xx

Hi , I have semi permanent eyebrows and eyeliner , to be honest , I still use my mac blacktrack gel-liner (which is the best I think) , applying with a brush every day as its hard to get semi permanent eyeliner that is perfect to what you are used to lining and emphasising (if this makes sense). I’m very fussy , lol. I still love having the semi eye liner though as its a good ‘base’ to add to and applying seems to be quicker now and easier. As for eyebrows , I had semi-perm done about 2 years ago and they cost £250.00 and were never right, I was still drawing and powdering them etc.. as they were’nt strong enough looking for me , was never happy with them really. I then had micro-blading in hair-stroke format done August last year and love them , they are exactly right for me , I feel they are more striking but natural looking , so I can recommend eyebrows done by micro-blade technique only and as for eyeliner , I still have to refine it but I still wouldn’t be without it (but this hurts like hell!…probably worse than a boob job ! haha) Hope this helps. xx
