Anyone accidentally got stitches wet – 3dpo

Hi!
So I got a bit of water from my icepack onto my incision plaster. Can anyone advise if this is really bad? Do I get it checked! I have emailed the nurse but still very worried.

Oh don’t worry it would be impossible to never get them wet. I got mine wet all the time it’s unavoidable, as long as you aren’t submerging them into water all the time you’ll be fine. You must keep them dry however accidentally wetting them won’t cause damage. Try not to panic xxxxxxx
