Anyone else had to get a Drs letter?

Hi

I had my consultation with the surgeon yesterday and he wants a letter from my Dr as I have been taking antidepressants since last November and also took them in the past (ten years ago). I saw the locum Dr today which was a total waste of time as I now have to wait to see my regular Dr next Thursday!

I know they need confirmation I am fit both physically and mentally for surgery but what exactly do I need to ask them to put in the letter? I want to make sure I get all the right info.

Helloo, i have just had a BA on 31/07/19 i was required to have a doctors note sent from the cosmetic group.

It is basically just to see if your in the right frame of mind to book your surgery, nothing to worry about. I did panic thinking it was bad but i booked in to see the doctor and requested my patient record which displayed what meds i had been prescribed and my previous appointments.

Id mention to your GP in the appointment they have requested the info and what he thinks. You will be fine.
