Anyone else not see surgeon before op?

Hey I met dr traynor a couple of weeks ago I didn’t try any implant sizers or anything,I now have booked my op and its only 11 days away tomorrow should I have been offered another appt to decide on sizes etc xxx

Do u mean sizes or rice test? I met mine Tryed my size with rice she didn’t suggest I just read up:) didn’t see her for 4 months till op day and said yeah I want 605:) not sure if that answers that..

Sorry Hun I prob worded it all wrong lol,I firstly met dr schiavone in feb tried on the implants in a bra but decided a couple of weeks ago to have consultation with dr traynor who I really liked he measured my boobs etc and suggested sizes and that was it,I booked last Friday for 1st may and had pre op on Tuesday but was told didn’t need to see dr traynor till op day,which is fine as I have to travel over 100 miles but so worried he won’t order all the sizes and ill have to have the smallest 🙁 just panicking I think, I’ve done the rice test at home and my sports bra arrives tomorrow so can see how they could look xxx

u try on implants in ur bra with ur pc at the pre op hun and u also have an appointment for a medical with there nurse before ur op to get bloods done etc xx

soz hun wrote that same time u sent ur message so didnt see it, u only see surgeon once n then on op day , try not to panic hun xx

Thanks Hun didnt have bloods done but had swabs and pics taken,I’m just so excited and think I’m just panicking incase he don’t have the biggest of the 4 sizes offered 🙂 xxx

Ah ok I get ya I’m ditz haha unless u are really worries I wouldn’t see him if u are happy with size and have seen some work he’s done 🙂

u having ur bloods in the gps hun? if u r make sure they fax it streight over to mya cause they wont do surgery without blood results and u need ur medical history and general health sent to them to xx

No I’m not worried totally trust him just not even decided sizes lol as when I saw him were only a consultation think I’m gonna go with 520cc though the biggest offered 🙂 see this Is what I mean Claire nothing’s been said about my bloods or needing anything sent from dr, think I best get on the phone to my pc tomorrow xxx

yea babe ring her asap! girls on here have turned up for there op and not been able to have it as they havent recieved gp letter which is basiclly just general helath and wellbeing, this is what i had to do…because the nurse didnt have enough needle equitment at my medical , i had to go to the hospital for bloods because my gp said when they do bloods there its just for the surgery records, so then the hospital sent my results to my gp and i had to have them printed toke a photo sent it to my pc as i was late getting them , she showed nurse and the nurse ticked them off, i also sent the results special delivery next day the bloods they take are full blood count, serum , and blood clotting test. some surgens lk diffrent tests. i also had to ask my gp to print off my medical histroy and i sent them off special delivery to (i like to make sure there there asap) . if they dont get your blood results and gp letter in time u cant have the surgery xxx

i had to do all this in litrally 2 days because my surgery was only 5 days away and the results has to be there by 3 days before surgery! it was very stressfull xx

Omg now I am stressing I signed paper work with the nurse so she can send letter to my dr I asked if she needs one bk she said no, I’m going to note everything down u said and ring tomorrow and check.thsnks Hun xxx

Hi Kate, try not to stress it will all get sorted out! Just to reassure you, not everybody has blood tests, so you probably don’t need one if it wasn’t done at your pre op and they didn’t mention anything. Also, a lot of the time they do not need a GP letter, they usually only write to your GP if the nurse at the pre op flags something up from your medical history. About the sizers, you try them on with your PC not your surgeon, so I you want to try the sizes make a PC appointment, you don’t need to see the surgeon again unless you have any unanswered questions. The PC is the one who orders the implants, not the surgeon, so you need to make sure your PC has ordered the sizes you want, then on surgery day you just tell mr T what size you want, hope this helps! Hey Philippa how u doing?nothing was mentioned about bloods,I asked the nurse about go letter as iv seen on here before girls not allowed op without one but she said it wern’t needed shed just send paper work so dr us aware I’m having it done.would love to know why my pc didn’t mention ordering the implants when she knows I travelled so far aswell ,uv helped alot ill ring tomorrow and get her to order them in,can u order more than one size?xxx

Well ring your PC tomorrow with a list of questions for her, but don’t worry about GP letter and stuff, that is usually if you’ve got a pre-existing medical condition or something and want confirmation that you’re fit for surgery, but they probably don’t need one 🙂 she should have really phoned you after you consultation with mr traynor, I left my consultation with him, he offered me about 6 sizes and I went away with all the options, my PC then phoned me on the evening to ask which of the sizes I wanted ordering and I ordered 4 sizes no problems 🙂 it may be that she has just ordered them all, but I’d chase it up! As I know you went to a different clinic for your consultation didn’t you so it may have been missed, it’ll all get sorted before the op though don’t worry x

Yes I am going to Hun just incase I’d be so upset if I got there and said I couldn’t have surgery.no not got any med conditions all fit and healthy.she text me after my consultation a couple of weeks ago then I did last min booking last Friday and had pre op Tuesday.mr t has offered me five sizes,but pc hasn’t asked which size so maybe she has ordered them all.thanks phillippa xxx

just ring ur pc and check hun im healthy but still had to have them might depend on surgeon but to have blood clotting and full blood count done seems normal to me no matter who u r, they order all the sizes hun u can pick on the day xx
