Hey girls Pleasetell me this will go away I’m post op day 3 and I feel like shit basically I have just been crying the whole time, I can’t sleep I can’t move:(, I keep saying to my partner I wish I never went through with it cus of the pain, I’ve been taken all the tablets they have given me but nothing works :(, I am so so so tired and so fed up already of not being able to move and lift myself up, Please tell me this pain goes soon? Xx
Yes I was totally the same it does get better , day 3 I was crying and day 6 at the cinema! Plenty of rest and keep up with your meds xx
I literally just wish I could turn back the clock I’m in so much pain :(, I didn’t sleep at all last night so my partners made up a bed on the sofa as it’s the only place to get comfy I just feel shocking :(, I feel like I have to hold all my top half with both arms before even thinking of getting up :(, xxx
@tiffanyl0912 honestly keep up with your meds have u got unders? I was like this. I am post op day 7 n more feeling it in my stitches now. But I set alarms in the night to take mine cz it hurt so much and was panicking I was going to have so much pain without meds. Keep your head up. I turned a corner day 5. Xx
@TIFFANY hi hun I was exactly like you. I am post op 3 weeks. I had 295cc uhp unders and the pain was so intense plus the anaesthesia was making me feel tired and the cocodamol was possibly the worst thing I could have ever taken! !
I promise you it does get better. By day 7 I was alot better and by day 14 I was pretty much back to normal routine driving etc. Although I did cry everyday for the first ten days completely regretting my decision to have surgery and kept phoning mya to tell them I wanted the next appointment to have them out!!!
But as days go on it does improve and I’m now back to work. The whole process is a big emotional roller coaster . Hang in there u will get through it. I wish u luck babe. Xxx
Hey! oh Hun I promise you it gets better, today I am 6 days post op and feel much better. Days 2 and 3 were awful for me too :(( I was wondering why on earth I had put myself through all this as well. Thankfully I had the strapping off yesterday, and the relief was instant! I felt a million times more comfortable and straight away gained more movement. I am still struggling to do much but I can feel it getting better as time goes on, so fingers crossed I feel back to normal soon.
Are you still taking your pain meds? I personally stopped them on the morning of day 3 as I felt like they were making me feel worse, I was so bloated and lethargic. I did definitely feel better once I had stopped them. Wishing you feel much better very soon xxx
It will pass! Honestly day 8 was my turning point…eat and rest well …
It is a big surgery … Take it easy on your self and relax
X
Thanks girls really put me at ease I thought oh my god I must be the only one feeling this crap, I kept thinking i can’t believe I’ve done This to myself I want them out, I think the anestetic is still in my system I am so so tired but can’t sleep yeh I’ve been taking all my meds I did find the cocodimal was making me feel sick so only taken one every so often, really appreciate it girls thank you :), xx
I’m day 3 and after reading many stories of no pain I shocked myself with how much pain I am in all I have done is cry i slide down in bed and dress trying to get up because if the pain it’s awful the pain relief isn’t working and in constant pain but after seing how everyone gets better after a week is keeping me positive as was telling my family I want them taking out as I can’t handle the pain x
@charliechalk88 I was the same.. Very shocked with how much pain I actually had. I’m po day 10 And am still quite sore xx
I was the same Hun I’m 6 days post op and feel amazing I took paramol it was ten times better than cocodomol hope this helps
Not as bad today just very tired from lack of sleep! Left breast seems fine but the right one i keep having spasms in which brings me to tears so im not going to move all day and just hope im a lot better by tomorrow! It’s just the mornings where in struggle the most i dread sitting up! All i did before my op was see pictures of how i could look but wish I spent more time researching the recovery as from my first consultation up till surgery was all done and paid on the space of 3 weeks! So anyone not had surgery yet please do research and don’t rush it!
