Anyone gone smaller than surgeon advised?

Just wondering if anyone had ended up going smaller than their surgeon initially advised?

I’ve been recommended 300cc as the smallest mine would want to go, but kind of worried they’ll still be a bit too big. Going to go back & ask if i can try 275 & see why he def said 300 x

Hun there’s hardly any difference between 275 and 300 xx

I keep thinking i’m fine with 300 but that little bit of doubt keeps making me want to try the 275s.

My surgeon said it was basically because of my bum that he wouldn’t want to go any smaller so proportions are clearly his reason for choosing the size. Just feel like i need to put my mind at rest xx

Hi hun, 150cc is equivalent to a cup size, so there’s not a great deal in 25cc – if you’re going under the muscle you lose 50cc straight away.

Always trust your surgeon, he does this so many times in a day 🙂 xx

I’ve never seen anyone on here hun that has said they went too big…only ever heard them say they wish they were a tiny bit bigger. Personally I’d say if you are paying all this money and putting your body through it, you don’t want to be wishing you could change them in a few years to go a bit bigger x

I was stressing that the 375cc recommended by my surgeon was going too big & was thinking about going for 340cc (I’d tried both at my consultation). When I spoke to my pc about it, she said either size would look good on me but she said that in her experience it’s best to go for the bigger size – She said that a lot of girls wished they went bigger once they’ve had it done & she didn’t want me to be disappointed with a good result.
I don’t want to wish I went bigger & there’s so little difference between 340 & 375 I’m just going to go for it – at the end of the day my surgeon has a better idea of how they’ll look after surgery than I do : )

hey hun if your gut isnt happy definately go back and discuss this with him!
people say 25cc is hardly anything and they are right,, but it is also the differece between stretch marks and none, or rippling or not..
i gt offered 300/325/350
and the 300s looked too small on me but the 325 and 350 didnt. so that 25cc was the differenc between too small and just right for me!
find out why he offered you this size, share your concerns but then id trust his advice!
but i know 25cc isnt alot but it can make all the diffenrece which is why 3 sizes are offered xxx

@peachysunshinee thanks! What were your stats before your surgery? Think i just need to get my head straight with it all in terms of going back to see the surgeon x

Hello Emma, I had the same thing. My surgeon recommened 400 & 350 (due to my breasts being different sizes) and said he wouldn’t go any lower, I had two consultations and agreed on the size. But when I went home I was really freaking out they would be too big and booked another app with my surgeon this week and he looked at my breasts again and agreed to go down to 325 & 375 but no smaller. People have said that 25c doesn’t make much off a difference but it has put my mind at ease and now I am so excited to get it done. I think you should do what you feel most comfortable with. But 100% go back and see him until you are happy. x

@francescajw i think i’m pretty set on going back to see him. I know people talk about boob greed but the last thing i want is to feel like they’re too big & be self conscious x

Yeah you should go back and make sure you are happy i went back three times. I am the same I really don’t want to end up with massive boobs, because i don’t have much now anything will seem big at first i am sure . Who is your surgeon if you don’t mind me asking? Have you booked your op? x

That’s exactly what i’m like. I have very small boobs – which has been pointed out to me on many an occasion! I’m in on the 11th may with Mr Mounir at Preston x

The only issue with going smaller than recommended may be that your skin will not be as taut. If the implant doesn’t fill it up completely it may drop/sag quicker over time. Whereas if it is full it won’t?

The last thing you want to do is under fill your Breast skin this can makes skin look saggy like it does when you lost a few pounds x
