I haven’t had a BA yet but am going for a consultation next week. I have two young children so will need help with them. I am thinking for at least a week I will need full time help. But after that I am hoping I would manage? how old are your children? x

My little one will be 15 months, feel guilty I won’t be able to pick him up 🙁 got the time off work and he goes to nursery in the week so just early mornings and bedtime I will need help with… Feels like organising all of this is more of a task than the op itself! Lol! When are you thinking of having yours done? I had my consultation with Mr Singh and going bk for 2nd one in a couple of weeks. Is it ok to add you? X

I have a 3 year old and a 2 year old, do you have family that could help out? I am hoping to get mine done asap really hopefully before Christmas. I have accepted you as friend. x

Ah thank you. They live about 70 miles from me so maybe a weekend but not in the week plus not being overly supportive ATM. – I have friends that have offered to help just got to make sure they are definitely ok to help as I feel like its a big ask! I’m thinking of end of October 🙂

Hun I’m 8 day’s post op now. Mine are 6, 4 & 10 months. I was officially on my own with no-one helping me since yesterday morning and not been too bad. Hardest par. Lifting my lil girl out cot. My Sis stayed with me for a week so literally took over. Until day 4 I was in so much pain when I moved there is no way I could’ve done anything on my own. I literally slept on sofa and she had my bed lol. The last 2 days im pretty much back to normal suddenly, driving, lifting baby and housework. Im taking things very slow and making sure I get kids chipping in helping. Don’t feel bad, I’ve also had couple very emotional days feeling extremely guilty but I know when healed I’m Going to be taking them swimming, hols when I have money lol. They will reep the benefits from what the surgery has done for me. In grand scheme of it I’ve started looking at it in the sense its 1 week completely different for u all, in comparison to their childhood, 1 week is nothing. I’ve even managed day 7 older kids in bikes and going for hour long walk pushing the buggy, slowly but I did it. You’ll be fine chick. Pls dont feel guilty. Xxx

I’m saving up for my surgery and my kids are quite young. My husband is planning on taking some time off work but I’m a little worried because you can’t lift anything heavy for about 8 weeks post-op. My baby girl will be about 4yrs old at the time, and she’s really cuddly! I’m sure it’ll be ok, my son is older and is really helpful when his mum is ‘poorly’. I’m not sure what to tell them about it, I suppose I’ll figure it out once I’m closer to my goal, not at the half way mark yet, I think once I’m a few hundred from my quote I’ll start thinking about telling them.

Didn’t realise it was 8 weeks thought it was just 1! How much have you been quoted out of interest? x
