Anyone had high risk rippling? Started by: Holly-Louise

So on 12th February I had my first consultation with Dr Kazzazi. After measuring me he told me that I can only have 285 implants and that I am at high risk of rippling so suggested the lifetime implants (which you all know are quite costly) I am wondering if anyone has been told they are high risk of rippling and still went ahead with the CUI implants and what their results were. I’m really in 2 minds whether to even go through with it now, feel so disheartened. Any advice or even just a friendly conversation would be great. Thanks ladies, Holly xxx

I wasn’t told that but went with the lifetimes anyway just to be safe. You could always ask to see a different surgeon for a second opinion hun don’t let it put you off just yet xxx

I agree with stref, i’d go and see a few other sergeons and see what they say, deffo dont let it put you off getting b/a. I am unhappy with the size the sergeon suggested so im going to see a few more sergeons and see what they say xx

Hi hun – I’ve added you. I was told by 2 surgeons I had high risk and that the implant wouldn’t make too much difference – rather my skin :-(. A 5% difference in fill level doesn’t matter – have a feel of the implants. Truth is, there is some but not that bad, which will get worse as I get older due to skin thinning. I had overs. There is less risk with unders as the muscle can hide it. It is a unfortunate risk – some peopl get it, some not and there is no garuantee either way. I’m still glad I’ve got bigger boobies though!!!! x x x

Everybody will get rippling, unders won’t notice it, overs you can feel it. It’s the joys of implants.
If you have 100% filled implants it’s much much less noticeable, MYA don’t offer these though, their 98% (both soft touch and responsives are) are a fab range, and the standard CUi which have been going a lot longer (95% filled) are great too. I’ve not seen a girl that has re-op’d due to rippling, we all learn to live with it xx

Hi you can get certain types of implants which has less % rippling risk, the smooth surfaces are good and the soft touch are more cohesive than the responsive the responsive is a sticky honey like substance. Both are good or you can go for the 410 or evn a form 3 which is totally cohesive very very firm..

I’ve done my own research so please don’t take my word for it 100% as I’m not proffessional..

Anyway I was told I have 40% rippling with 1st surgeon but not at high risk, I went to another surgeon and they didn’t mention anything at al, I have further consultation tomorrow and goin back to my 1st surgeon for review x hope this helps x

Oh and going unders you can see rippling more around the lower pole of the breast than the upper pole x

Hiya I had Naturelle soft touch overs in August and Mr T had pre warned me that ripping was almost inevitable. He couldn’t of been more right as I got it almost straight away. Luckily though it’s in the bottom part of my boobs and it’s not at all visible I can just feel it really badly especially if I lean forward. But to be honest I love having nice boobs compared to the efforts I had as boobs before and defo would not want them changing back.
    🙂 xx

I’ve been told that mine may ripple, over the muscle but I prefer that then under as I might have a chance of them being far apart n the pigeon chest isn’t the look I want lol, has ne1 had mr mahdir? That’s who I’m going with x

Thanks ladies, you really helped. I’ve booked another consultation with Nu Cosmetics to see what a different surgeon thinks. I want the surgery so badly but costs and bumps along the road are postponing it more and more. Getting married this year so its now or never! xx

If you want to go with what the surgeon said by getting the natrelle instead of CUI ask for them at the CUI price, I did & got them! I just said £4000 was all I could afford & that I want the natrelle not CUI & if they can’t do the natrelle at £4000 I wasn’t going ahead xx
