Anyone had their bra fitting…?

Hey girls

I’m 6 weeks post op and finally can get a bra! Was sooo excited but now so confused…. I was a 32B and have been measured at either a 34DD or 32E which is amazing! Bigger than I expected and they still look natural. However I remember reading in a leaflet to go a back size bigger which would be a 34 but when I tried the 34DD the straps wouldn’t go that tight and around my chest it felt too slack? So I bought the 32E and I’m not sure if it’s too tight? But now I don’t know whether it’s because I’ve been in a sports bra so long that I’ve got used to it? Lol

Any advice? What size have you become? Did you increase back size?

Hi ! I know its irrelevant but I hope you dont mind I have just added you as I have a similar before bra size and I am looking at having 295cc unders , I am booked for december but cannot decide on size!

Hey @katex 🙂 course not any questions feel free to ask, I’m pretty sure I’ve posted a before and after so feel free to have a look 🙂 I was a 32b and now looking at a DD – E, which sounds massive but they do suit my frame and I don’t look silly, best descision I’ve ever made! So so happy! xx

Hey. I’ve not read anywhere about going up a back size in bras, except with your post op bras. What reason did the leaflet give for going up a back size?
To be honest it doesn’t sound right as you get 90% of your support from the band. If you buy a size too big then you’ll end up with boobs which sag more than if you wore the correct size. Xx

Hey @icrlm oh really? Maybe that’s where I’m getting mixed up with the sports bras, that’s exactly what I thought, not much support if it’s slack…think I may have got confused and put it in my head lol 🙂 thanks makes me feel better xx

Hey. I think that leaflet is just telling you to go up a size in sports bra for after surgery. Go with whatever the new measurements are! I’m due to get measured in a couple weeks I can’t wait xx
