Anyone have implants on fri 8th nov?

Hi. I just wondered if anyone else on here had implants on Friday 8th November and if they’d want to keep in touch to discuss progress? 🙂 xxx

Ah really!! What time did you go down? I was 4th, Just before 12.30 I think. I’m feeling sore too and left arm a bit numb, walking about is ok but boobs hurt when I first start up. No way I could get dressed properly myself yet, What size did you have? X

Just seen you had 460, I had 450 one side and 485 the other, I expected them to be massive but they’re not,
I don’t think they will be too small but just right. Are yours completely strapped up and covered? X

Hiya think I went down about half one so you were probably coming round as I was going down lol. Yes I am completely covered haven’t seen a bit of em yet. I also can’t get dressed, my other half had been helping me. Getting up and down is really hard and I have a little baby so can’t pick get up it nothing but everyone being really helpful. What size were u to start and what size were u told y would be? Xx

Hiya. Mine come off on Friday. How come u got to wait so long? I am not back to work until a week on Monday. I’m quite sore and tight. I had mine about half one I think maybe a little later. What did I u get? I had 460. Cannot wait to see them! Xx

They said they had no earlier appointments for me to get them off, I am completely strapped up too. Did you have drains in?
Yeah same very achey and tight however I can now sit up and sit down without help and I can go to the toilet without help whereas before if hurt to pull my trousers up and I felt a bit useless lol
I had 310 allergan inspira extra high profile dual plane which ia half under the muscle and half not xx

Hi Jo, I was a b cup (have a look at my before pics!) I was originally booked in at chelmsford to have strapping off on Friday 15th but then nurse from Mya rang me yesterday and said they aren’t even there on Friday so I’ve got to wait till tues 19th, they’ve started burning up all of a sudden ha ha! I’m feeling ok but still achy and sore, glad I had hubby at home to help me today, have friend over tomorrow and mum on Tuesday. Will hopefully be better towards ends of the week. Hope you’re all well ladies! Xx

Hiya. I’m still booked in for Friday to get my strapping off at Birmingham. Mine are feeling quite tight still but not as sore as they were. My other half is helping me a lot and been over mother in laws today for dinner so been looked after. Seen ur pics n u were deffo bigger than me to start with, mine were just empty after having my second baby earlier this year xx

I’m in after work at half 4ish, I’m so glad you have said you are nervous about bag badges too! I thought I was being a wuss after everything I went through on Friday but all I can think about is how much it stung when they lifted the bandage up to remove the drains! But I’m sure after another week or so we would have healed a lot more and maybe the bandage won’t be as sticky then lol
My arm was also very numb and achey but it’s feeling a bit better today just a small bruise where the needle went.
Chest is still sore and it hurts to pull myself up, I feel like I have permanent heartburn
Are your still taking your pain killers and have you managed to cut down at a
ll xxx

Rachel I think you went in front of me, the nurse said they had to put a girl in front of me as she was nervous. How you all feeling?

I was a nightmare when I got to theatre, really freaked out!! But thankfully came round ok after BA and lipo.

I was the last to leave. Didn’t heave until 9:30pm. I was second down at about 9:30am. It took a while I think.

I’m feeling great from the BA. Boobs feel perfect. They are not hard at all. But lipo is so swollen. I feel like a whale!!

Hi. How’s everyone feeling? I’m a bit less sore now bit still tight when I get up and walk around. My strapping is starting to rub and irritate me now, got a feeling I’m gonna have blisters. Cannot wait to have a shower either just wanna feel clean again! Have to keep reminding myself not to do too much! Yesterday I just flushed the toilet n felt like I tore something, it’s crazy what we take for granted, as in moving our arms on a daily basis lol. Hope ur all ok xx

My bandages aren’t rubbing luckily, where abouts are yours hurting exactly?
My swelling has gone down a lot and I’m not feeling as tight across the top however I’m now more aware of the pains underneath where the incisions were made and I’m quite itchy!
Yeah it’s funny how much youuse your arms and chest muscles, a couple of times I have got a bit carried away and hurt myself! Feel utterly useless lol
I’m going back to work Thursday but there is no way I will be able to drive and no way I will be able to push the big heavy office doors open I will just have to wait for someone to go before me hahaha when are you going back to work?

I feel the tightness has eased and movement coming back slighltly as i cudnt flush the toilet either lol it is so frustrating how little i could do and how unexpected being this unable was but hopefully we will only get better from here on in xx

Hi Rachel and Jo, I’m feeling ok in myself, I’m still taking pain killers (didn’t want the ones they usually give u as a lot have said they make u feel sick) so I’m just taking the nurofen liquid capsules 3 or 4 times a day, the antibiotics 4 times a day and also arnica every few hours. The strapping is itching me and I want to rip it off but yeah it hurt like hell when they took it off to remove drains! I’m hoping to try and ease it off myself with wet wipes or something before I go to clinic, I think the clinic appt is more about checking the scars isn’t it? I’ve got the dermatix silicone scar sheets to use once the strapping is off. I’ve got like a burning sensations every now and then, I’m trying to use ice packs throughout the day too xx

I’m taking the co drydramol pain killers but only taking 3 or 4 a day now and trying to cut down, what is arnica?
Good idea with the wet wipes I think I might try that too, I read on here that someone had their bandages ripped off on one go! Ouch!!!!!
What are the scar strips you have and what do they do? 🙂
Yeah I have random burning pains too out really scares me but it doesn’t last long thankfully, I wonder what that is? !
Has anyone attempted washing their hair yet?

Regarding the strapping- a nurse just rang me as apparently I’d called MYA and asked one to call me back- that’s not the case at all lol,but whilst she was on phone I asked some questions: earliest they can take your strapping off is 6 days PO, the itching is a sign it’s all healing properly, burning sensations are common and she said to try to bear it, if it’s extremely painful or unbearable call them. I asked how they remove the strapping as I was worried about the stinging eye watering pain you get when taking a plaster off, waxing etc, she said they use special wipes that break down the adhesive so it may feel sore after but not like ripping it off in one go! Sod that !, I must admit I’m so relieved to hear they take their time about it, ha ha! I am sleeping better than I expected actually, I put two pillows down then my v pillow so I’m propped up slightly, I actually managed to turn onto one side last night, but my arm felt numb after. I’m having to take my sports bra off during the day as the rubbing is getting I my nerves! Once strapping is off I may end up buying a new sports bra. X

Hi. How’s everyone doing? I’m feeling much better low although I do get shooting pains through my right boob from time to time which I am hoping is nothing. My strapping is annoying, as expected, and they have postponed my appointment to get it off from today to tomorrow!! I know it’s only a day but I was so looking froward to today, now another day of waiting!! Eeek! Hope ur all doing ok xxx

I’m very good thank you, went back to work in Chelmsford yesterday and did a lot of walking which made my chest fell like I had two bowling balls on it lol so I’m going to stay in the office at lunch today
That’s so annoying about the strapping why did they change the appointment?
I can’t wait to get mine off on Tuesday! !!!!! 🙂

Hiya. Yes take it easy! I am not back to work till Monday. They cancelled my appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, so can’t be helped. Just gutted. I’m just taking normal paracetamol from time to time tbh which is fine now. I’ve just been reading about rippling and now got myself fretting about that happening to me lol xx

Hi girls, I’m feeling great now! Have had any painkillers for 2-3 days and I was only taking ibuprofen anyway. I done something bad last night, I was so frustrated with the strapping and close to tears as it was burning etc that I took the top part off!!! Oops, I was meant to go to chelmsford today, that’s the original day they booked me in for and then when nurse rang me on sat she said nobody will be there so changed to 2pm Tuesday. I’ve still got the bottom part on over the scars but I have to see I feel SOOOOOO much better now girls, would never have been able to wait till Tuesday, and if people are allowed to have it removed on day 6 then i don’t think cause probs for me… I’m not recommended you all do it though lol!! Xx

Hi girls. Everyone seems to be doing so well. I am still quite tender tbh, hope there’s nothing wrong when they take the strapping off later. I was supposed to be going Birmingham and they called again yesterday and cancelled it again but the girl there couldn’t have been more apologetic and actually booked me into a London clinic later this afternoon so I don’t have to wait anymore as I had already said my strapping was making me sore and asked if I could take it off myself and they said no. Really hope my London appointment don’t get cancelled again, just want this off now and to be able to have a shower, just feel gross. Plus I obviously want to finally see my new boobies 🙂 xxxx

Great! I’ve still got the horrible sticky residue from the strapping glue and because my sports bra is black my skin now looks disgusting lol! I am hoping the clinic on Tuesday has some kind of remover to get rid of that!! I will upload a pic now- be warned, they’re all out!!! And Jo, let us know how u get on once strapping is removed! X

Hi ladies! Well after many appointment changes I finally got my strapping removed yesterday! Having the strapping off was not bad at all. They used wipes to help unstick it and it was fine. Also having the dressing off my stitches weren’t too bad either. Although since u had it off my scars have been quite painful where the bra is rubbing directly on them now. Had to take painkillers last night! I went and got measured and I am a 34d. Bit gutted as wanted to be a dd but they do still look so much better than what I had before and I suppose they suit my frame, I am just preying they don’t go any smaller though tbh! I get to have a shower today which is gonna be amazing but just can’t out anything on my scars obviously and just gotta be very careful. It’s so weird just having boobs!! When I have had a shower I shall try and take another pic and put it in so u can see the difference from my before pic. Got my 6 week check booked in on 21st December so hopefully if everything is ok then I’ll be able to wear normal bras for Xmas! Hopefully we all will 😉 hope ur all ok xxx

had all of your stitches dissolved or did you have to have a couple removed?
I seriously cannot wait for my first proper shower…it will be AMAZING!!!

Had the bandagesfoff today
I’m a bit upset, I love size and I can see they are going to look great but at the moment they look like two massive shiny and swollen balloons and they are rock solid with sores and cuts all over them 🙁 does anyone elses look similar x

Ahh don’t worry Hun they’ll change over next few weeks, mine are very round too but they look far better than they did. My scars are quite good really, I’ll upload pics xx

The nurse ripped mine off all in one go and I feel like ive been given 100 nipple cripples one after the other!
I just hope and prey they are going to drop and soften xx

Rachel I’m exactly the same so don’t panic. They remind me of balloons!! They will soften in a while though.

I’ve been putting Bio oil on and they look even shinier after that lol

My nipples are pretty sore at the moment, seemr eally dry so I keep putting cream on x

OMG Rachel that must have killed!!!!!! What nurse was it? The one with darkish wavy hair in ponytail? My right one has already started softening compared to the left. They will be fine and they always look better in bikini top or vest top. X
