Anyone how long I should wait till I can pick my 2yr old up?

I’m 10 days po now feeling normal no pain what so ever , when do you think I can start to pick my little girl up? 🙂 x

I would say wait until atleast 4 weeks just to be on the safe side, I know it’s a long time for both you and your little girl but you don’t want to strain your new boobies and incisions! My friend was picking up her baby 2 weeks after and her incision came apart so if you do pick her up sooner just be really careful babe xxx

Hey hun, i have a 20 month old and lifted her after two weeks only when was essential if i had no one around. Im feeling fine and my incisions are very tightly closed and i check them after. I use my arms to rest her more on them at the side rather than holding her to my chest. Im 2 weeks 4 days today and feeling fine but definetly try push it as long as possible. Xx

I’ve probably been really naughty but I felt completely normal at a week and have been doing everything and everything’s fine ? Listen to your body xx
