Hi stacey, I have bonded Racoon extensions. Do tie them back at night, if you do move around alot in bed then that friction causes them to matt. I tend to wash all the hair once a week with the special Racoon shampoo and conditioner. I also leave it to dry naturally as brushing when they are wet can make the go frizzy.

I do go the hairdressers every 4-5 weeks for maintenance which does cost around £25-30.

Hi hun, i had the micro ring hair extensions done for xmas last year and like u after i washed my hair the first time it went very dry and coarse :( i was soo unhappy. I found that its very important what shampoo and conditioner u use. Make sure u use a shampoo and conditioner specially for extension human hair. I also paid just under £300 and wasn’t happy with the results in the end. The rings go very greasy as u can’t wash them right at the roots and come out whilst brushing very easily. The grease thats left in your hair after they all come out is gross. I had to wash my hair three times just to get all the gunk out of it. But i also used sheen sprays, smoothing balms etc and nothing really worked. Overall i wouldn’t bother getting them again and I think the clip in extensions really are the best ones :) xx

Hi babe I do bonds and micro loops, what I say is when u wash your hair rub downwards then put in conditioner all over loads on the ends and jut leave or 5-10 min then I say use heat proctor also at bed plat your hair babe… My girls have micro loops for 2-4 months bonds sometimes longer depends how well you look after them… I’m still training so I’m charging £80-120 depending where in Cheshire plus you get the hair x

Hiya Hun, I fit hBoth pre bonded and micro ring. It all depends on what hair you have in? You must use the correct shampoo and conditioner, also try a protein spray and moroccan oil-only on the ends not near the bonds. I would ask your hairdresser what hair she gas fitted. I’m in Newcastle upon Tyne and my companybname on FB is prettyfake hairextension xx

I ruined my hair with these :l like properly ruined so had to cut it well short and let it grow 7months on its quite long and v healthy :).. But I would make them last 🙂 extensions r always v tight for first few days its kills ! But wear your hair up at night silk pillows r good 🙂 and I swear by this hair mask … Ok olive oil egg mayo coconut milk and apple cider vinegar .. Sounds crazy it really works !:).. Leve it half an hour and wash out several times to get the oil out! Condition as normal and maybe avoid silicones in shampoo for a few weeks 🙂 xx

I’ve had both pre-bonded and micro rings. The micro rings were good at first, I probably lost about 10 bonds over the 3 months that I had them in, I did find it hard to manage the hair though as it just tangled straight after I had brushed it, it wasn’t dry though which was strange. I never got any matting at the bonds which i was happy with and my hair must have grown a good 2-3 inches whilst I had them in. Then I had pre-bonded and it ruined my hair, had loads of hair just snap off and they matted after about 3 days, then the hair turned out to be synthetic rather than real human remy so was a state! Has anyone tried those 3/4 hair pieces? I’ve seen loads of really good reviews and pictures but worried I won’t be able to fit them so that you can’t tell I’m wearing a wig ha.
I’m definitely trying that hair mask thanks Lottie x

Hello, I know a thing or two about hair extensions and they are certainly not one size fits all and most have to try a few different methods of applying them before they find one to stick with each as pros and cons, bonds are a long term solution and but can be way more damaging than MicroRings but so many girls and women have been using them glur ones and the tension in the hair that’s constantly having glue put in and out usually will thin over a long period of repeated use. There’s so many more options now including nano rings micro rings LA weave Cold fusion Tapes take your pick just make sure you do your research and have a consultation as for hair quality I’ve never hair as good as from these guys below
