Anyone that can help …!!! :(

I’ve had a burny sensation where my incision is and I looked just now and it’s like a huge red mark on the incision. Can anyone take a look and let me know what is it?? It’s burning quite a bit. It’s uploaded in my pics thanks xxx

Looks like a small infection in the incision. I’d get it seen to ASAP lovely 🙂 you’ll just get some antibiotics and/or some cream 🙂 xx

Get to your MYA nurse and get some antibiotics. Don’t go to your doc in case you break your Ts and Cs with MYA as I think it may invalidate your aftercare with them – or at least check with them if the clinic isn’t near you, before you go to doc xx.

Definitely looks like an infection ur need to see ur gp for some antibiotics Hun . X

Okay so I called them and they said to come in but I Live 2 hours from London so cannot get there Til after 6ish on weekdays due to work. They haven’t got any late apps u Til nxt week so I said ill call doctors. She said that’s fine but they will probs refer me back to mya. She said to dress it and that I won’t need antibiotics and defo no cream. She said that she’s offered me several apps so if anything goes wrong with it it’s not their fault as she’s offered me apps. Sorry but I can’t just trip up to London during work :S I’m quite angry actually as she was quite rude on the phone. Obviously I don’t want anything worse to happen but I can’t just drop my work and go to London!! Wat can I do now??! Xxx

Ring in sick and get those antibiotics asap I’d say or get mya to put in an email you’re okay to go to your GP for antibiotics as long as all he/she does is look at the incision maybe – which is of course all the doc would do. xx

hi allyh, when I spoke to the nurse she said that shes not going to give me antibiotics :S she said it needs dressing to prevent any further infection and defo no cream on it ……confused!! so why is she telling me to come up? just to dress it lol. hi jess pixie, sorry I didn’t realise I had adds. will accept now thanks for your help xxx

yeah its soo annoying.. everything was going so well but the damn stitches haven’t dissolved, haha….yeah don’t bother they are rubbish with appointments! yep im going to call doctors tomorrow, see if they can do something 🙂 xx

Ally is absolutely right do not go to your doctor’s, I did due to a slight infection had no physical examination at all just was given tablets, and now I have lost a part of my aftercare! Ladies tread carefully.

If anyone can find it in the terms and conditions let me know I’m waiting for mya to send this specific point to me,

Sorry can’t really go into anymore detail I’m so upset but couldn’t sit and read your post and say nothing, pls get your incision appropriately dressed by no one other than mya and chick pls do it asap good luck xxxx

aww 🙁 okay, I just looked into all the paperwork that I got from them but doesn’t say anything about doctors etc…okay I will have to try to get to the clinic 🙁 thanks for your help everyone xx

@ST.x sorry hun ive had to write here….whoever the hell told you it doesnt need antibiotics hasnt got a clue what they are on about!! No infection within the body goes away on its on an infection only spreads further to other areas, get to Mya and get those antibiotics hun, failing that if you really cant get there, ask a family member if they have any spare anti biotics for the time being, most anti biotics work the same I would not let this go any longer as it will only get worse bbe hope ur ok xx
