Anyone went back to the gym 6 weeks post op?

I’ll be 6 weeks post op on Monday and have my nurse appointment next Wednesday. I’m desperate to get back to the gym!
Has anyone else went back straight away? I really just want to be using the treadmill again, the crosstrainer and bike?

Also will I need to get a certain sports bra or will any do?

Hey Hun I’m sure you’ll be fine. My surgeon has just signed me off at 2 weeks post op to go back to the gym. I’m sure you’ll be ok. If anything doesn’t feel right then just slow down or stop x

i wouldn’t run on the treadmill for a good few month afterwards or even at all, cant imagine them moving around whilst running will be any good for them x

@summa2011 oh really that’s early, I can’t wait to get back I feel awful after sitting around for 5 weeks ? have you been back to the gym then? How did it go if so? Did you get a specific sports bra or will any do? I have some but there not high impact ones. Yeah I’ll just take it easy but hopefully I’ll be okay x

@rebeccapierce95 I know I was thinking that, I wasn’t sure if I could need a certain type of sports bra to try keep them in one place lol x
