Appropriate to ask surgeon about going larger?

Hi so I had my surgery in feb this year. And my left side re-done in August due to a slight complication. I have my final surgeon check on January. Do you think it would be appropriate to ask if he thinks that I could go bigger yet only been nearly 1 year post op. As I wouldn’t want then done again for about another 4/5 years I’m just curious? Xx
