Are unders actually unders or partials?

Has anyone had ‘unders’ which actually turn out to be partials? And has anyone had unders that are definitely fully under the whole muscle? It seems that some surgeons are transparent and tell you exactly what you are having, yet others say unders but they actually arent unders they are partials..im so confused x

I’m having unders with Dr Mounir but girls who have had indeed told me he actually does partials! Xxx

Had my op today checked my paperwork definitely got partials but were referred to as unders. I’m assuming they drop and fluff in the same way?

Yes im having mr mounir too, lulutrix…did you have mounir? I am booked for next week and up until last week thought i was having unders, but then realised they are partials, i dont really see the point in them coz the reason i wanted unders is coz the muscle goes all the way around the implant and gets reattached at the bottom, and helps hold it in place in years to come when sagging usually starts. Partials it doesnt it only covers half the implant…just wonder if its only mr mounir who doesnt do full unders or if its other surgeons too x

I had Dr Andrea. I’m not sure why they don’t go on to explain because on the pre op sheets it had a partials explanation and diagram. I’ve literally only realised going over my notes post op. Not too concerned their nice and high now but because I breastfed I’m worried about them sagging too quickly, I think I’m just going to sleep in a sports bra forever lol

Thats exactly my concern too – sagging! Ive not had kids yet but i will be in the next few years and dont want them sagging, i have read that with full unders you have a muscle supporting underneath the implant aswell as at the top. I dont want to have nice perky boobs for a few years and then they sag and have to get them redone, they definitely should tell people, from my research i have been doing there is a big difference between unders and partials x

I saw mr traynor the other day and he said they will be under the muscle but said understand that means only partly under the muscle. So he made it sound like that’s what all unders are.

I think sagging is inevitable ladies especially the heavier your implants are their placement and if you have children post surgery 🙁

It seems they all do ot then! Be intersting to know, if anyone has actually had full unders? The nurse in my pre op said people do have them….
