Are you for real, PLEASE READ

This is a brilliant forum for people to share their worries and exciting times with like minded people going through similar situations. I did extensive research before my op on who to book with ect as I’m sure everyone did. in the end I decided to go with a surgeon that was fully BAAPS and BAPRAS registered. I have nothing against mya and many seem fully satisfied. I mentioned where I had my surgery in a pm when somebody asked. I haven’t discredited mya or told or influenced people to go elsewhere BUT due to this I have been encouraged to remove my pictures from the site….. I find it very odd and just proves its all about the money, how disappointing. I will remove my pictures and thus not help others with their decision. Unbelievable.

Omg same! The moderator has messaged me twice now! Ive never once bad mouthed MYA or suggested people to go to the same company i did! I just use the forum as a place to share experiences and give/take advice etc. They removed my post a couple of weeks ago because i was apparantly ‘asking other forum members to look at my pictures’ when i posted my 6 weeks post op results.. And when i message people saying they can add me and look at my pics to compare sizes etc.. Crazy! Dont remove your pictures, im certainly not, i posted the pictures to simply help others in the same situation as it helped me when i was researching! I just feel like an outcast now haha xx im sure this post will also be removed

I think that’s wrong people may not be able to compare surgeons work but u can see size comparison.
Don’t remove ur stuff ur duin good by helping people xx

Haha thats what my boyfriend said leigh! I was gutted when i got the first message, thought id get deleted and blocked from the forum 🙁 dont know what id do without it.. Its better than facebook! Haha xx

Yeah I don’t even have a Facebook account anymore. Oh well if we get deleted we can just set up our own forum lol! X

so silly isn’t! fair enough if i was shouting about how rubbish a company is or isn’t but it wasnt! surgery is a big decision and people should be allowed to make their informed choice on the evidence available to them from real people! I was so annoyed!! xx

Same happened to me! I have t public ally stated anything had about them or where I went.but my post about adding photos got removed and I got the message! Totally understand its a mya forum etc. but it’s not going to stop others using it. X

Yes it is all about the money im past it now and dont care if i get deleted i went with mya everything was fine until they got the money when i had my op i needed to speak to my pc and nurse neither of them bothered getting back to me even my surgeon said its all about the money and if i need to talk from now on contact him directly at a different mya clinic as hes there most of the time i wont even bother with birmingham clinic anymore

@myamod completely understand what you are saying it’s just that i have not promoted other providers or slandered your service. Anyway hopefully it is sorted now.
