Areola reduction Started by: Charlotte

I’ve been thinking hard about whether to ask for Areola reduction too with my surgery, after pregnancy my areolas have stretched and I hate them. But I don’t know if this is due to the fact my breasts aren’t in proportion with them (im an empty B). But then I’m thinking they may stretch with my implants as I want to go quite large. I’m having my first consultation on Wednesday, I had a consultation a couple of years ago (had to put on hold due to personal reasons) and actually met with Dr Traynor, he said the highest he would go with me would be 520cc so I’m hoping for the same this time.

Has anyone had an Areola reduction with their surgery and is it a lot extra?

I had averaged sized nipples pre op and Mr traynor wouldn’t do anything with my nipples, I wondered about a nipple lift & at first after my breast enlargement I didn’t like my nipples because the implant stretched them bigger and because I’m still stretched and tight and still numb on my areola they aren’t getting cold/shrinked. I don’t think they are actually bigger though, they look in proportion with my implant size, but I’ll be a bit sad if they never get cold and shrink :/ xx

Aw thank you. Well from what I can see in your pic you look great! I’m just paranoid about them stretching really but I suppose you don’t know how they will until it’s happened :/ my nipples aren’t huge, they’re just severely out of proportion since my breasts shrunk after breastfeeding. Hopefully I can get some more advice when I meet with a surgeon again. I think that I just have an image in my head of perfect doll-like breasts and that for me means tiny, perfectly round nipples haha x
