areola size after uplift

hello, i had an uplift a week ago and my areolas were reduced. i had my dressings off today and my areolas look tiny! the whole of them is the size of a 2p, anyone who has had an uplift, once the swelling and puckering has gone do they relax to a normal size? i’m quite worried i’m going to have practically no areola! x

Hiya what surgeon did u have. Iv not had my Op yet 20th feb I’m booked in for . With Mr Traynor. When I went for my consultation with him I asked I’m as I didn’t want tiny areolas. He said there cut to 4cm something like that. But he said they stretch so they should get bigger. He said he was a tiny nipple man ha!, x

Hi Kathryn how big did you want them? I think smaller looks nicer mine look huge x

@kathryn hiya, I had an uplift and aereolas resized 295cc hp 4 wks po tomo. I didn’t see my aereolas for a while as dressings had to stay on longer as wasn’t healing but earlier this week the left boob that’s dropping and fluffing more has massive dinner plate I jest aereolas circle and the right swollen oblong stubborn boob aerolas is straight oval but starting to widen a little. So mine have got bigger as weeks passed. I’m sure yours will increase. Xxxx

thanks everyone, i had mr alleruzzo with the hospital group, my nipples look oval shape at the minute, am happy they’re smaller like but am just worried they mite look too small, if they do settle down n stretch abit i think i’ll be happier, am so happy at how perky they are tho x
