Arnica Montana Rhinoplasty

Did anyone take arnica before/after rhino? I’ve bought 30c pillules and I’m not sure how many to take? x

Hi, im having Rhino on 15th Feb. What does the Arnica Montana do please??? xxx

I’ve been using the cream and rubbing around my eyes and it us making the bruising go fairly quick…I’m unsure about the tablets but if you ask your nurse after surgery they will tell you because they recommend you take it. I have heard from other girls it’s brilliant ! Or do you have Jodie on here ? She is taking it and will know she is such a nice lass . If not il email her for you xxx

Hey girls, Naomi emailed and said you were asking about arnica, I was advised by my Dr not to take arnica before as it thins the blood and makes his job harder to do. I have however been taking the 30c tablets since my op last Monday. I was taking 2 a day for the first 7 days. I now have dropped it to 1 a day for the second week. I will probably stop over the weekend as the majoirty of my bruising has gone. Hope this helps. Cream i hear works wonders too 🙂 ^^^^^^ xxx

Oh great, I’ve been taking it! And got my op on Monday :-(. Mentioned it to the nurse and she said ‘great, good idea’. Flippin ‘eck, just emailed my PC x

I was taking arnica tablets for the first week after my BA, I felt like it help reduce the swelling after two days and I had no pain at all. X

Dont fret about it hun, ive heard girls that have taken it before and results have been fine. It was just Dr G’s preference. x

Thanks Girls. Jodie – my PC said it wouldn’t do any harm, but I think I will stop ’til after. Did Mr G tell you that about blood thinning during consultation? x

Yeah I had heard from someone else that they took it before so when I went for my consultation with him I asked and he said not to take it as it thins the blood etc etc. awwwww thanks babe, cast off on Monday I am so excited but nervous. I can’t really see any difference at the moment but this bloody cast is driving me insane. I was so lucky with bruising, Dr G is very gentle haha xxx
