Do you start taking them before surgery? If so when and how long for? And how long for after surgery do yoi take them? I meant to ask the nurse at my pre-op appointment but completely forget.

I’d double check with your surgeon and see what he says. Only saying that as before my pre op I was about to run some arnica tablets. But mentioned this to my surgeon at my pre op and he was dead against them, saying I didn’t need to take any supplements.

I asked my nurse at pre op and she told me not to take them before hand and to start once I had them done so that’s what I done. Although a lot of girls do take them a few days before and the week after. I just didn’t want to risk taking them and the surgeon finding out and cancelling lol xx
Sorry if this reply is a bit late – I was recommended them but not by my surgeon it was my pc but I forgot to ask the nurse and surgeon so ended up not taking them until after my surgery when my antibiotics had finished. They’re quite intense it’s 2 every 2 hours for the first 6 doses and then 2 for 4 times everyday. Not sure if they helped or not as my recovery went so well but I took them anyway so it’s possible that they did help xx
