I asked my surgeon about this yesterday and he basically said that he had no problems with me taking it. He said he’d heard mixed reports of whether it actually made a difference with bruising or not but he was happy for me to take them if I wanted to.

My surgeon said that I didn’t need to take it as he felt it wouldn’t make a difference but the nurses advised me to take it. I started taking it one week before and took it for two weeks after. I had 2 tablets, 4 times a day.
I had no bruising, not sure if the arnica had anything to do with that but it’s only herbal so there’s no harm in taking it! If it doesn’t work no biggie and if it does then it’s a bonus xx
