Around my Nipples really sore

Hi girls

I’m 3 weeks po on Wednesday & everything seems fine apart from being really sore right around my nipples inside & out! I’ve been using breast pads for the past 2 weeks & yeah it helps stop any rubbing from any sports bras it’s just the soreness that’s bothering me! Is this normal & anyone know how I can stop it or is it just part of the healing process? Sometimes I’m thinking maybe my sports bra is too tight as when I get a shower on a night I change into a normal soft sports bra for an hour just to make sure my incisions are totally dry before changing back which does give me a bit of relief because that ain’t so strapped down on my boobs like in my M&S bra! Any advice or recommendations on another sports bra would be appreciated x

Omg I’m having the same thing now! They’ve been so oversensitive the past two days and my macom is driving me crazy. Even brushing them when I’m putting a top on makes me feel like I have 737263 little pins digging into me. I’m sure I’ve heard somewhere it’s due to the nerves in your boobs going back to normal? But I don’t know what I can do to stop it being so sore xx

It’s really horrible ain’t it @amy it’s driving me mad as well as the itching! Arggghhhh! I feel like I’ve gone back to breast feeding lol if anything touches my boobs around my nipple I cringe it’s so sore! It still hasn’t settled down so I’m wondering if it’s a very sensitive part of our boobies that just take like FOREVER to heal, I’m still slightly numb under them also! I’m back to wearing my M&S bra again because I can’t wear my Macom even with breast pads, if you find a solution pleaaasssseeee let me know x

It’s so sore! I’m just hoping it goes down soon. I’ll definitely keep my eyes open for something to stop it lol x

Mines the same babe! How many days post op are you? I’m hoping it calms down pretty soon. I’ll let you know if mines does too chick x

I had the same and I’m 5 weeks po and they are just about back to normal one side still slightly sensitive. It something to do with the skin and nerves being stretched x

Aw thanks @lorna 🙂 I’m glad you have told me that! It’s a horrible feeling & very sore! Feeling slightly better today. Have yours started to drop & fluff yet babe? Mine still pretty much look the same apart from a lot softer but they ain’t high up but I don’t think they were when they were first done so I’m pretty confused lol x
