ask for the size you want to look.. not measure x

Hi girls im 11 weeks po and i just want to explain to those looking at having a ba.. dont get hung up on bra size tell your surgeon what size you want to actually look.. because implants measure way bigger than they actually look.. i measure a G and look a full DD.. to look a F/G i have to wear boost 3 cup size bras and i had 600cc hp overs.. as it happens im not 2 disappointed because i always planned to re op and go bigger.. but for u girls first time round ur going in blind really.. and i rarely see anyone complain that their implants are 2 big.. but i see tons complaining they are 2 small xx

Great advice! This is what I wish I had done! I asked to be a D but think I’ll end up looking a C rather than measuring big and looking a D! But it’s also as big as your body can handle without risking rippling etc … Boobs, who’d have thought they could be confusing haha! Xx

Well when i first got mine they felt massive but over the weeks they settled they just got smaller.. i measured my bust every week i started at 38 inches and went down to 37 inches and ive stayed there ever since.. the boost is when u get measured because u measure so big but thats only because they arent real boobs so dont fit bras as they really should.. i laughed because i put a 32F bra on and the centre of the cups where my nipple is was empty lol but fitted everywhere else!.. so weird.. put a G on it fitted perfect.. the whole boobie business like u say is soo confusing n ofc we get scared about size.. i just think what i posted is something that is not talked about enough xx

Hi Hun so if I want to look a D out of a bra ask for that instead of saying I want to measure a D? I’m worried about going to big but I also want to have a nice size worth the money if that makes sence I don’t want people to just think iv got a padded bra on like I do now haha xxx

Hi huni just tell ur surgeon that u want to look a D not measure a D.. as far as measurement goes.. thats up in the air hun i cant give advice.. take a look at my boobs without a bra i dont look a G far from it xx

You’ve made such a good point Amanda, I also think so many girls don’t realise what actual sizes look like .. For example a DD isn’t even that big so girls will ask to be that size to their surgeon and then be disappointed because they aren’t as big as they thought they were going to be!
I would definately recommend girls to take in pictures to their surgeons of someone’s boobs they like so the surgeon can see the size and judge it by that 🙂 xx

Yea hun ur bang on there.. and a bit of solid advice u gave :).. additionally.. dont take pics of girls in bras.. topless pics or the surgeon wont entertain them.. i made that mistake lol xx

Yeah I use to be a natural 32DD, and I never thought I looked big at all. Just average lol. Then they went to a 36G with my son (and my weight gain), and they looked big for me (but I like big boobs 😉 ) but they’re now deflated. So looking into BA to fill them back out. It’s so true that we think DD is big.. when in reality it isn’t really that big, I certainty don’t think so after having them. Some of the girls comments on other forums have basically said, ask for a size bigger than you want as you’re less likely to be dissapointed with size then xx

Amanda – good post, so true! But interested where you find boost bras in your size. I measure a 32F after my ba 6 months ago and am still yet to find a good padded push up bra in my size… X

Lovely thread totally agree with this. I have had a large implant and am wearing a F cup, I dont understand how cc relates to the look of breasts really but yes deffo ask for the size you want to look rather than just cup size

I couldn’t agree more here!
I was a 34b and was told that 450 overs would take me to a dd/e.
I’m now 9 weeks post op and been measured as a 34ff in boux avenue and a 34g in ann summers.
However I really don’t look this! It’s so important you tell the surgeon what size you want to look like.

Amanda – I never really thought of the difference between measuring big and looking big. Thanks for pointing that out ! However, the thing with me is that when I say I want to measure a F for example, it will look like an F because I am very tall and broad chested. Most of the girls here are a normal height (I’m not) so your F looking boobs would look like my D looking boobs. So confused, must go for another consultation. xx

Its a complicated thing really girls but u all understand where im coming from and im glad because i sometimes wondered if it was just me being daft! Lol.. and susan u cant get bras like what i mentioned in that size.. u have to go down in cup size but up in back size like 32f will equal 36Dxx

I wanted to be an E, I didn’t however think about the look from the measurement! I had 400cc overs from a full 34C, wish I’d gone with a 450 or 500 though now as im quite tall so think it would of looked fine! xx

Fake boobies can be very confusing. This is a great post for everyone considering a BA! I personally decided to have the biggest my body could fit & I 100% trusted my surgeon. My natural boobs were like fake 1’s anyway as I always measured bigger than I actually looked. I’m 2 wks post op I had 455cc overs & wearing a 32E sports bra they are identical to my post pregnancy breast feeding boobs which I loved. I’m also 5ft 3 & have a petite upper body frame. You certainly have to make it clear to your surgeon exactly what you would like to achieve! xx

I agree, I’m having another consultation with the surgeon and telling him I want to go as big as he will let me. For the money I’m paying I want the boobs!!

Thats exactly what i did danielle.. i went to see him a year previous and on what i said he offered 375-525.. 2nd time round we chatted more etc he suggested 500 550 tops i then requested 600 he only just fit them in so i couldnt have gone bigger.. they do know what is best but the whole sizing and looks thing is totally wrong.. i wanted to look a F a little top heavy at least anything above bonus.. instead i look a great DD and measure huge!.. like i say lucky i always planned to re op but some girls only want to do it once and if that were me i would have been thrilled with his work but let down by size xx

I was trying to research last night but google brings up the same images whenever I type in C’s, D’ or DD’s! Very annoying! x

That has just put my mind at rest! I’m going 600cc on 24th jam but have been told I’ll look ridiculous as a G as I wanted DD-E. So glad I haven’t changed my mind about size! Thank you x

Missy this is the best post I’ve seen in long time and it’s come at the right the time to with that nasty nagitve post the other day on ( size rant ) my 1st op implants & uplift even tho my I got 32G they look like a F and to show them off I had to wear a DD wonder bra to give them a good look and to be fair with all the cash I payed I should have needed the push up bra when my swelling went down I still had loads room in my breast skin and I would have been able to carry more than 415/385cc as my normal bobbies IDE I was allways big from F-GG cup and I was told them CC was all could have do how do they work that one then next girl would be B cup and was able to have 600cc and re op day was able to 450cc no diffrence in cup size still 32g re op no2 new surgeon he said I had CC need them re placing with 590cc with nipple lift over the muscle my mum said I’m a 34GG/H but now I look a 32G I always never be scared of bigger implants that’s y always say small medium large implants so girl know there sizes it’s so important x

stephy u must be so excited 😀 they will be a lovely size.. alex u have certainly had a hell of a time with ur pups! they are looking great though.. i dont care what anyone says implants deffo measure bigger than they look.. and as u say they do come in sections of small, med, large, xl.. some surgeons class 600 as large some class them as just in the xl bracket.. they arent even large to me nevermind xl lol xx

WIwwie what size are you now and what size have you ordered ? As usually they have to order yr implants in for you. I had 3 different sizes ordered x

if u asked for c u will get that.. ur surgeon will have ordered a few diff sizes in just incase xx

Oh thanks chick I’ve been up in down I’m so glad I got them to how I wanted them when you go to talk about sizes they never tell how u how many grams they are they never tell you wots big or small so when u are told smaller size you think it’s going to be big as your looking at wot the numbers mean that make them sound huge but when in fact it’s not that much when you weigh them out xx

thats true hun the numbers make them sound big.. its best to look at the size chart of the implants u are having.. i only bothered to look after my op xx

Bloody hell I did the same thing knew wot the sizes ment af my 2nd as you would think 400v450 would be big diffrence between the 2 but not diffrence at all there was a silly girl saying that few ex cc makes a lot of diffrence and I had to explaine that the bit of CC was in fact for girls with uneven Dolly’s to even them out without taking them to the next cup size but I love big bobbies Im big fan of them and if I’m paying I should at least able to go bigger than my natural size x

Aw thanks huni <3 .. a few extra cc doesnt mean anything really.. i mean if u go up 200cc there is only like 3mm difference in projection lol.. and exactly u should be able to get whatever u want hun.. ALB i got a few from ebay im talking 6 months ago though.. u dnt have to agree laura but thats how it is with my 600s xx

To be fair each to own there at the end of we can’t all want the same things I like big round fake look but some girls want Natural ones it’s all about personal choices and should able to get wot you want x

Clearly if didn’t would have keep my natural look that’s my personal choice but wot girl would go there surgeon and say Alex has told me to push you in to bigger implants 6 times over than wot you said ????
