    Hey girls,
So I’m having my surgery with traynor on 4th Jan 2017, I was originally offered 325cc hp unders which was the max he recommended last time however I went back for a second consultation with him and asked if I can go bigger as I felt the 325cc wasn’t quite as big as I want.. he asked me what I was wanting so I told him 350-375cc so he wrote it down and told me to try them, he just said there’s obviously more risk of sagging/rippling/stretch marks etc and it’s my decision to go bigger.. so I tried on and loved the 375cc! The 350cc wasn’t much different to 325cc. So I was just wondering because I’ve gone over what he suggested will I still be covered as normal after the op if anything goes wrong? He may not even be able to fit 375 in but if he can I was just worried a bit incase it changes your cover in any way post op.
I’ve asked my PC just waiting for a reply and just seeing if any of you girls have had experience with this?

I don’t know for definite but if you are a patient of MYA they have a duty of care to you as a patient and your implant size should not affect that. Just because that one surgeon recommended 325cc does not mean that all surgeons would offer that size. Xx

    Hey Imogen,
Yes you’re right 🙂 my pc got back to me yesterday and said I’m still covered as normal! She said the thing they don’t cover is rippling. Xx
