At MYA waiting for my op

I can’t believe the day is finally here. After having my op cancelled twice I was really sceptical when I was rebooked and couldn’t get excited. Now I am sitting here in MYA waiting to be taken through. It all seems so surreal but I am really excited now and just want it over and done with. 3rd time lucky, and although I thought I would be here by myself my beautiful mum came with me as a surprise. Feeling so blessed, May the good luck and positive aura continue. Good luck to any ladies having ops today, see you on the other side Mwah xxx

Thank you so much lovelies. Will be going to theatre about 5/6, i’ve been here since 12:45, however my admission was 13:30. I’ve not eaten since 7:45 And my stomach is eating itself I feel like a zombie lol.

I keep singing food glorious food, I have so much snacks here they are teasing me Think I should go to sleep.

@Sammy omg hun I’m still here waiting to be seen I’m absolutely starving and so pissed off my pc told me not to eat later than 7 I’m glad I had something 7:45 imagine. My Dr was confused too, but I’m here now which is the main thing. My stomach is eating itself lol at least I can get rid of some fat xx

@blondepug hey hun I finally got my boobies its a miracle lol. I went to theatre about 8:30 and came back to my room at 10:00. I feel fine just really tired and a little bit sore. I’m actually able to move my arms and didn’t expect that yey. My sister just left and I’m having a cup of tea and a sandwich and then off to sleep. I’m actually struggling to keep my eyes open lol. Thanks for everything babe you helped me through my day xxx

@Charlene – Omg congrats babe! What a long day for you, I’m sure it was worth the wait but you must have been a bit frustrated with the hours passing by! Hope you have a great sleep and a pain free recovery, don’t suffer babe if you have any pain make sure the nurses know about It before it peaks. I’m so pleased for u babe, have u had a sneaky look at your new boobies? Mine sat really high up for the first four days, it’s only when I got the bandage/breast band on that they started slowly dropping. Day 8 and they are in a much better position lol xxxx

@blondepug thanks hun yes such a long day but worth the wait. I was the last one to be seen, it felt a bit rushed when I got down there but everything went smoothly I was told. And everyone here is amazing and friendly. I’m so glad I bought food as by the time I was done I didn’t get any as I think the department was closed. Overall babe I’m happy although I think the boob greed has sunk in lol. I had a sneak peak lovely my boobs look nice and filled out no more mummy boobs wahoooo…… I went with 375cc Mod pro I could of had 400cc high pro but although I wanted an increase I want a natural look too so went with Dr marcellinos advice and I think he did a Wonderful job. I know they change a lot so I’m going to wait patiently, think I’m used to that now hahaha. My boobs are not sitting too high they are just really perky and look like cones lol. Can’t wait for them to settle and fluff. Thats great hun I know what to look forward to roll on day 4 and 8

@charlene Aww babe I’m so pleased for you! I hope you’re resting and taking it easy! Are you due to be discharged today? I was in Fitzroy hospital for five nights after my surgery as there was a complication during the surgery! Some of the nurses are such happy and funny people thou they can really lift your spirits x

@blondepug hey hun I got discharged about 1:00pm and home resting up watching ex on the beach. Had a little bit of pain where the drains were taken out but mostly discomfort, I had a bit of bleeding after my right drain was taken out as it wasn’t clotting so had to ve observed but nothing serious. I’ve been making sure I take my meds and have my feet up. There’s no pains from my incisions and I’m a lot better than I expected but I think it’s because of some of the reviews I’ve been reading. Although I was told the anaesthetic will take up to three days to wear off so I’m hoping if topping up on my meds I’ll be ok by that point. Awww bless you hun sorry to hear you was in for long but I knoe you were in the best hands. Glad you are much better now!!!!omg I loved the staff in the theatre you’re so right they are so funny and make you feel so comfortable. I woke up and was talking straight away I think they thought I was crazy, they were constantly laughing. I woke up and was like was I snoring and they were like no you slept like a baby you were so peaceful. I said I was worried that I was so tired from my long day that I was snoring hahaha. Even on the ward hun I felt so comfortable and relaxed was talking so much I’m surprised I didn’t have a dry throat. Going to take some more meds now the strapping is quite tight and it feels really sore now. How are you feeling today? xx

@Charlene – Hi babe i’m glad you’ve been discharged and everything went smoothly! Wish I had been as lucky lol! 😛 Ouch the drains were horrible for me, I was screaming when the right drain was pulled out, felt so weird! Day 3 and 4 were the worst for me to be honest, but Day 5 I started to feel so much better, and now i’m a week post op it’s not so much pain its more so my arms still feeling quite weak! Like I still have to shuffle up the bed with my bottom cos I cant put any weight on my arms. I had the surgery under the muscle so that’s probably why. Did you have unders or overs??

All in all it sounds like you’ve had a great experience, are you happy with your new boobies? I have never took my bra off as much as I have this past week just to have a sneak peek at how they are changing hehe! Are you in strapping or a breast band??

I’m feeling ok today, still a little sore on the sides of my boobs but feel much more myself! I am really happy with how they are dropping and the size too. Although I think I have a bit of boob greed! hehe xx

@blondepug morning babe omg the drains grrrrrr. I’m really starting to feel it now, its so sore and a bit painful. I thought I would feel more pain from the incisions but it’s not the case at all. Its quite hard to move around too. Awww so happy to hear that you are feeling much better and to be honest it is still quite early days for you too hun. It gives me hope though knowing this will subside soon even though it’s not as soon as I would like lol. Omg bum shuffle is the worst I can’t do it hahaha, I’m really trying but don’t get anywhere and end up using my arms a bit and I know that I have to try not too. Ohhh darl yeah you’re most prob right maybe as you had unders and I’ve heard a few people on the forum say that. I had overs and I’m able to lift my arms up but try not too. I hate sitting up as I feel my implants are going to fall out they feel so heavy but I think I could of gone bigger as my skin stretched after breastfeeding. My boobs feel really soft which is good but they are so pointy and look weird with the strapping on. Can’t wait till I can take it off and feel a bit free. Well until I put my sports bra on. Did you have strapping on too? I bet your boobies look lush can’t wait to see mines properly. I definitely have boob greed too hun I was touching my breast saying look its got more room in there I could of gone bigger but think it’s perfect for my frame plus they do feel heavy at the mo as well. I think I will be the same like you once my strapping comes off. Thats great news hun that you are happy with what you have and how they are settling and its not been that long so I can imagine it’s only going to get better yey. I’m hoping my boobs are settled before I go on the holiday please no cone boobs!!! Have you gone back to work yet? My bf came round last night and he had a face like a slapped backside he’s not really a boob guy so don’t think he’s happy with what I’ve done but I told him i didn’t do this for you or anyone else its for me. If it was for anyone else they would be under my chin for all to see lol xx

@blondepug awww bless you hun sorry to hear that. Hope you managed to get a better nights sleep last night. I think we could possibly be going through a similar experience, I’m a bit worried babe although as my right implant feels like its seaping out. My right breast appears to be much softer and lower down than the left one. When I sit upright stand/walk etc I feel like NY implant is going to fall out. I get this horrible sensation and it doesn’t feel right.

Yeah I have strapping hun it is very tight can’t wait to get it off. It’s almost like having some weights put on your chest. For some reason because I dont feel secure with the implants I’ve been wearing a sports bra on top to try and keep them from feeling so heavy and like they are going to pop out. I just have a horrible feeling something is wrong with my stitches. I wondering if I should just wait until Wednesday when I have my post op appointment. However sometime I feel like I can feel liquid. My appointment is in London hun. When do you get your strapping off? I want mines off but I can’t say I’m looking forward to so worried to see the outcome.

Really hope everything is ok hun what day exactly do you have to go in?

My sports bra is a D/D hun but there’s still a bit of space in it so I would say that I am a D maybe.

Lol hun I think no chance I might need to trade him in for another hahaha

Have you still got nipple sensation? I can feel at the top of my boobs but not around the nipple, im hoping i dont lose it completely xx
